I want to see them giant calves! And explain to everyone how you got them...training, genetics, implants?

My Mom has big calves, my Dad had huge calves. My sisters both have big calves on little girl bodys, and they look good. Mine are pretty descent. Don't train them hard. 19 1/2" and 20".

I want monster calves. Maybe 22". Shit if I had monster calves at say 24" ripped I could just wear a baggy shirt and shorts and look huge! 20230929_162531.jpg

LMAO! This is totally bro-porn

Edit: You know you are a lifter when you look past the two female 19 year olds collectively weighing 190 lbs and doing lunges in tight ass spandex at the guy bigger than you and you are thinking….

“FU@K his shoulders are awesome…”…. Then look over and see your hot ass wife rolling her eyes at you.

Or being more nervous to ask the swole gym bro on his arms routine compared to asking the petite chicks number.

My son at 16 years old 100% natty. Can't see the calves too well but if he follows in my footsteps they should blowup around 18-20 yrs old.
Those quads aren't bad either. Just from running 4 days a week. Pretty proud Pops.

This is the hill I will plant my flag:

best calf training methods = calf strength

+ anabolics = increased calf vascularity

implants are the only way to cause significant increase in apparent size. Some famous guys tried site-injections and it never worked as well as other muscles.

Ergo, calves are largely genetic.

Never cared about calves and this is my first time taking pics of them lol, I don't even know how to properly flex them.

I never trained them, I walk quite a bit and stand on my feet more than I sit. Learned to always be on my feet and ready for action back when I served in the military for 5 years.

That's funny. I've never really trained calves either. I now just do stretches and no weight donkey calve raises. I'm trying to keep good symmetry. But, sometimes I'm tempted to just hit them hard and see what would happen.

Highly genetic, but as a teenager all I did was ride a mountain bike and I actually raced and probably put in over 50 miles a week on the regular. When I stopped riding and got into the gym it transferred over very well.

For starters, you can’t skip them, I think a lot of guys skip calves because they just assume it’s 100% genetic and see it as a losing battle so they don’t bother. Most of my calf work nowadays are sets of 50 reps, followed by super heavy sets of 12-15 reps. I’m always mixing it up
