Pinning pecs, lats, etc

I'm by no means big, but i do 2.5 mil in pec, lat, ventroglute, and delt. I haven't done anything else yet. Its takes me a while to look at a diagram and decide if I'm going to try a new spot.

I only pin quads, usually its painless but i sweat so much while doing it. Couldnt imagine pinning my dear chest or back

I would not pin any very obvious or important body parts or muscle groups. Pinning Pecs and lats would definitely interfere with my training sessions and building scar tissue in those groups would negatively affect their ability to grow as well as the appearance overall. I recommend sticking to body parts/groups that are not as important and are ok to create some scar tissue in. On blast I usually just use 2 places. Idk how much oil people use to necessitate rotating so many muscle groups.

There are many saying the opposite though, that site enhancement is real. Not like real muscle but the scar tissue stretches the fascia and makes the area bigger. Yes, it definitely reduces the striations in muscles like delts for example but you win some and lose some.

A guy i know he missed the pro card and came second, the feedback from the judges was that his shoulders were popping too much and synthol was obvious. This dude have never used synthol but he does most of his shots in the delts. Since he stopped doing there his look has changed, so one could argue that in weak body parts it's a nice way to shoot and make them look bigger.

Also for the record, from my experience pecs might interfere with training if you shoot one day before workout but lats and any other part (i guess excluding quads) it makes no difference.

I've always injected into my lats, shoulders, glutes, and quads; I can handle 5ml in my glutes, legs, and lats; 3ml in my shoulders (front , side and rear zero problem).

I've never tried injecting into my chest, arms, traps, and calves, but I have friends who do 3ml in their chest, traps, and triceps. I've always been a little scared.

The craziest thing was when I heard guys were using their forearms as injection muscles, 1.5/2ml.

Oh I also agree with the site enhancement stuff, for some people & muscle groups it can make a nice look, and if it doesn’t mess with growth and training then perfect. One of the spots i pick is for site enhancement but it’s not an important muscle group for training. I also prefer a detailed more striated/ conditioned look, so I avoid that but of course everyone’s preferences differ. If you want bubbly and round, I think it can help.

Yeah the argument is fair, but like this shows there is 100% too much and the injection can adversely affect the look or give it an uncanny or less detailed appearance.

we’re probably different in terms of this then, I can feel the bolus, soreness and inflammation after and it changes how the contraction feels compared to the non-pinned muscle group. It’s not going to stop the training or anything but it definitely changes the perception of pain, and some level of impingement. Of course like almost any other thing in BB we all kind of respond differently and have to decide our protocols individually

I've been pinning lats since I started TRT years ago, not sure why it never bothered me. There is plenty of meat there and no big nerves as long as you stay away from your arm pit. I've never had a bad pin there and they can hold a ton of oil.

Pecs on the other hand I haven't tried, kinda scares me a bit lol.

Crazy name & profile pic combo

Once they're developed enough lats are one of the easy going muscles to pin - those fuckers can take some serious oil and can't feel a thing when pinning.

Pecs I'm not really keen on, can be an uncomfortable inject and for whatever reason I find personally the oil doesn't disperse too well.

Lats, side & rear delta, VG & DG and occasionally triceps for me.

2 sites on each glute — VG and DG. Then delts and lats.

Something just feels wrong to me about pinning my pecs so I stay away.
