maybe we should post some of bush's cheerleading pics from college

Or some of his service pics in uniform.... oh thats right he didn't spend much time in uniform.

I personally think Kerry is the biggest slimeball that could ever enter office. Way worse than Bill Clinton. I just get a really bad feeling about him, that he is the most dishonest president we COULD ever have.

Bush on the other hand, despite his bad public speaking skills and that he's not our smartest president, has very good intentions and I think is a good man deep down. I don't feel he is an arrogant individual. The best type of president is one that listens to his cabinet and advisors to help him make decisions, not tries to make every decision for himself and his personal gain.

The point is, that if you are a good judge of character like I am, you can just look at Bush and tell he has whats best for the country in mind. Kerry, on the other hand seems like he has his own secret agenda. A man that rides the fence and contradicts himself that much scares me because what does he really stand for???

To go kick some Iraqi ass and show that nobody fucks with the US, and make sure they dont forget that.

Really? So Bush called your brother up personally and made him enlist and then told him to go to Iraq? Wow! I didnt know it worked that way now.

I need to ask my brother if Bush Sr. called him and told him to go during Desert Storm. I'd ask him if George W. told him to go this time too, except I know for a fact that my bro recently arranged to be transferred to a different unit because he WANTS to go to Iraq, and the unit he is transferring to is more likely to get called up than his old unit. But that's my 'stupid' brother: A career soldier doing what he's been trained to do and for a cause he believes in...freedom.

damn bush, damn him for actually using the military for what it's for. Capturing a dictator and making the world a little better of a place was such a bad move.

Huh ? There are alot of "dictators" in the world that are alot more dangerous then SH was. Invading unarmed countries is not what the military is for man. You have blinders on if you think that this was a just war. All any servicemen can hope is that the President will use the military force for a reason thats true and worthwhile. Giving the stupid americans a "Bad Guy" to rally our failing economy and trying to guarantee himself a second term isnt a just reason worth the cost of american lives, innocent Iraqi lives or the financial cost of a perpetual war.

Unjust then, unjust now. Bush is going down in 4 weeks and 1 day .

So just because there are "a lot of dictators" in the world we shouldn't even bother? That's one less dictator to worry about, and a whole lot of lives saved in the long run. I don't understand the liberals way of thinking. If you could, would you take this war back and put Saddam back in power?

Is that what i said ? I said that the military isnt for invading unarmed defenseless countries. When other countries invade, its unjust and down right wrong, when we do it....Its justified.

I wouldnt have to put Saddam back in power, cuz i wouldnt have tried to take him out of power . The sanctions had brought the country to its knees. The only purpose the we put sanctions on the country in the first place was to make the people of Iraq suffer. Who are all these lives that you think we saved by invading them? we killed 30k + civilians during "shock and awe" alone. And for what ?

There are communist and tribal dictators all over the world that have Nukes, and strong alliances with commerical countries that are a real threat to the USA. Yet we dont do shit about them. Instead we invade Iraq cuz the dopes in the white house thought they would be a bunch of patsies . What would you do if another country , say a communist country invaded us and tried to force communism onto us because they thought it was the best form of government working ? I know exactly what i would do...Johnny get your gun !!

You're pretty funny.. My bro joined before all this shit went down. He is out of the service like many of his buddies . Reason? At first he and MOST of his fellow brothers were down for going to Iraq to get RID OF WMD. Guess what they (WMD) were not there. Now what? Our young men/women are there for what? I support our troops , not the war..

Bush needs to take a lesson from Prime Minister Blair. Blair had the balls to amit and apologize to his people for sending his troops to war.

Before all the bush supporters start talking shit. How many of you have love ones in Iraq? I was worried sick for 10-12 months while my little bro was in Iraq. The feeling when you hear the news of fallen soliders from the same post/base your loved one is stationed is horrible.

Let me give you an example..
About a year ago 2 choppers were shot down carring tropps coming home for a 2wk break. 20-25 troops werekilled, 6-8 were from the same post as my brother. Keep inmind my little bro was also coming home at the same time. I made some phone calls to his post/mwr etc. to get some more info. At that time all they could tell me was the ages and rank of the soliders. Of course, one had the same age and rank as my bro. At that point I lost it. I was in a zone for about 3 days until the names came out.

It's hard for some to understand the mindset of a Soldier, Sailor, or Marine. They are a different breed. They give so much and ask for so little but we owe them much more than many even realize.

fatass, I sympathize with your situation. Loved ones at home often need to be as brave as those in harm's way.

WMD weren't the only reason for going to Iraq though. If that was the only reason given, we could have acomplished that from the air. Even though the intel was faulty, we could have taken out what we knew of or suspected. Saddam would still be in power.

By the way, Duellfer is now reporting that he firmly believes the WMD were moved to Syria before we got there.

Here are some caches that were destroyed...

Blair has never appoligized for sending troops to Iraq. He has appoligized for the bad intel that was acted upon. W has done the same.
