If you switch to Miglyol, imo, I’d list it in the product description. It’s worth bragging about, distinguishing your product in terms of safety and longer shelf life. More people care about the #1 by volume ingredient of what they’re injecting being, literally, true pharma grade than you might think

And many of those that don’t know the significance will look it up, probably conclude it’s a good thing, and might decide NOT using pharma grade oil is a deal breaker going forward.
Using cheaper oils to save 25¢ a vial may have made sense with $35 kits from China, but with the price increases for all gear this tiny expense is nothing.

Honestly it’s because of the conversations you guys have had in the forums that now I’m looking for the Miglyol MCT oil and excited to try it out. I’d vote with my dollars for sure for better quality stuff.

FWIW I’m not a brewer, but I know that while 810/812 is the long established “gold standard” FDA approved oil for injectable hormones in the pharma industry, the newer 840 formulation is water thin, and considered the smoothest oil based injection possible, while 810/812 is the classic MCT viscosity, so not quite as light as 840.
The only downside to 840 vs 812 as far as I know is that 810/812 can hold slightly higher concentrations, but have no idea what that is in real world numbers.

Yes, 840 is thinner. But I believe 810/812 is pharmaceutical equivalent. I have heard more people have negative reactions to 840. Would like to have feedback on more knowledgeable members on the topic.

A few years ago Alpha Pharma (always pricey) started using 840. The vials were so clear and viscosity was indistinguishable from water, retailers were flooded with “feels” reviews claiming fake or bunk Alpha was everywhere. Too thin, too clear, too smooth. Once the bloodwork started turning up good, that put an end to it, but not before Alpha had to implement a scratch off anti-counterfeiting one time use code system.

Yeah, 840 way is thinner by a long shot. Only bad I have heard is people getting bad reactions to it. But I do not have enough data to support this.

That’s true, 840 is not as close to bioidentical to natural triglycerides as 810/812, which is one aspect of those that made it a favorite of pharma and regulators.
However, this is more of a concern when these oils are used as IV administered nutrition, which obviously involves large amounts.
In normal doses of of injectables, especially IM or SubQ, rather than a 100ml bag going straight into a vein, day after day, to provide a comatose patient with calories, the “not quite like natural triglycerides” (because if its thinness, basically), significance becomes irrelevant, there’s no practical difference.
Pharma is also very conservative. Once 810/812 was used by multiple Pharma companies, and approved by US and EU regulators, when developing a new drug, using that instead of having to “proove” to authorities the new 840 oil was good to go, it was much easier, faster, and cheaper to stick with what was the well established standard.
But this is all nitpicking. Going with either will be a huge step forward in quality and “residual harm reduction” IMO. The “pharma standard” factors, like guaranteed ultra low endotoxin, that matter to those who think of minimizing the harm that’s not felt within minutes of a single injection, but the damage that’s can quietly accumulate over hundreds.

840 has a higher polarity and absorbs faster than 812 , most people can tolerate it , theres always a few that just don't like the mct combos in any form idk , 812 is still good and well tolerated by most

I brew exclusively with 840.
It has better solvent properties than pure MCT which allows me to use lower bb%. It's also thinner which allows me to brew at higher concentration whilst sticking to thin needles. Shelf life, I believe, is also better.
However in terms of selling gear (which I don't), 812 is still a safer bet as you never know who's going to buy your oils and how'd they react to 840.

Just my 2 cents, but 840 would fantastic! 810/812 is still great. Either way, I would be exclusively using yours as it’s very hard to find from trusted sources like yourself

I agree. I am probably going to go with the 810/812 route. Just because it isn’t just one person purchasing.

Teat Cyp raws are at Jano. If purity is good, I can go ahead and brew that batch with MiG and see how you guys like it. Then move on to other compounds and slowly make a transition.
