0.1% (currently) isn't much of a difference, and neither one of them even got half the votes cast.

Counting eligible voters who declined to soil their conscience with a vote, I'm sure Trump won with less the 30% of the total registered voters, and that's not counting a large minority like us who decline to participate at all. It's also not counting voter fraud which this election has shown is significant.

And finally, there's the reason for voting for a particular candidate being largely related to voting AGAINST the other candidate. Wouldn't it be great if you could vote against someone without having to vote for one of their competitors? Anyway, take out those votes, and I doubt either one got even 15% of the eligible votes cast by people who actually wanted them in office.

So, the majority of the country very likely would prefer neither of them in office. The ones who voted just happened to hate Hillary more than Trump.

I am glad to see Trump was elected and you guys didn't continue to elect the same people who have been fucking you hard for so many years now.

I am just surprised that they let him win considering your political elite was using almost every strategy to ensure a Trump victory was unlikely.

Anyway, this is probably a good thing for Americans and probably a better option for the world. Unless you're a fan of Hillary's brand of war-mongering and sabre-rattling.
