Making the switch to powerlifting, Gobuckeyes 2017 log

Started my cycle yesterday so I'm now currently trying to bulk. Bulk the right way this time. No more see food diet, Ima track my shit and eat good so I can hopefully minimize the fat gained. And I weighted 205 this morning. The lowestest I've been in 10 years, you can see my upper abs, lower abs, if I had to guess I'd say I'm 15% BF or around there.
 
Squats today. I'm not going to follow a program until I get back from vacation bc I'm not lifting that whole week, well at least that's the plan. When I get back I'll restart my 531 program. My knee feels good today, I've been wearing a knee sleeve for a couple weeks now and I think that's helping it heal faster. I did 5x5 365 and just worked on form. I'm happy with how low I'm getting now. I did eat a couple bananas before my workout also.
 
Did bench today. Worked up to 300 with no spotter n stopped. I'm going to have to figure something out with my one buddy at the gym. He is there sometimes when I workout, I need a spotter every Tuesday when I bench and for the last month no one has been there or it's been 1 female. I almost used the smith machine but didn't bc it doesn't feel right. The weight felt light today, don't know if it was the TNE or something else, superdrol, tren but I'm starting to feel it. Workout was kick ass

You don't have a rack that you set a bench up in and adjust the safety cross members to bench?

No. All the benches are 1 solid unit, all the incline benches are 1 solid unit and the decline bench is 1 solid unit. Only thing you can adjust is what one of the 3 different pins heights you put the bar on. I use the top bc I have longer arms. There is a guy at my gym that is usually there a little after me that Ima text and see if we can set something up for my bench day. Try to get ours times closer for that 1 day so I can get a spot. He's a cool guy and has spotted me before and offered rides when my car was breaking down.

Cool. I'm lucky my gym has that rogue Westside bench that has spotter pins. I never use a spotter unless my buddy is there just for a lift off.

Yeah that would suck. You could always leave the collars off and just tip the bar left to dump the weight then tip it right to dump the rest of the weights. Lol. Embarrassing though.

I might have found the perfect gym. I'll know by next week.

Yea I've thought about that. I talked to my buddy and he's going to come in half hour earlier and I'm coming in half hour later so our times match up on Tuesdays so I have a spot.
 
Worked on my squat form today. Went light but man was it ever light. I actually worked up to 3x10 275 and it felt light. Usually take Wednesdays off so I just wanted to keep it light and simple. Did some weighted planks also and some other leg work.
 
Deadlift day, hit a PR 465. I could have easily gotten up more. Maybe 485? Maybe 500? I'm pretty pumped bc the last time I tried I failed at this weight about 3 months ago. My grip is really strong now, going from one of my weakness to now a strength. I love it lol.
Ima try to hit a 500lbs deadlift probably around thanksgiving.
