Where is the knee hurting? I can give you some more exercises to try. But you have to be diligent with them. When first took Powerlifting serious at the end of 2014 I was having some knee issues. Nothing major, but it made me ascend slow in my squat. Pain in my ass. I'll attach some other things you can do that might work. As long as your knee has no integral damage it should help. I believe
@RodgerThat posted somewhere about using floss bands for joints. I'm a huge proponent of floss bands myself. It works but it has to be done consistently.
Some of this shit can be painful. I have a high tolerance for pain. But putting a Kabuki Boomstick or barbell behind your knees and just sitting on it fucking hurts. Lol. But it fixes a specific knee issue.
