Low carb diet + supplements + working out

I plan on going on a lowcarb diet this summer...and I know what there is to know about that. But I have a few questions

1. Will being on the low-carb diet affect any muscle growth over the summer? (If so, I won't bother with the diet as I'm not fat to begin with)
2. As someone being new to the working out scene (not going for body building) are there any recommended supplements that I should be taking over the summer? So far I've heard a LOT of protein..and I've also heard that taking glutamine and creatine helps a ton as well.
3. If the answer to question #1 is no, then do the supplements I stated in #2 have any overbearing amount of carbs that it will pretty much cancel out the low-carb diet?

Thanks for the help guys.

What are your current stats (height, weight, bodyfat, exercise history) and what are your goals?

I'm 6'5 around 210. Body fat is some where around 10-12. I've been working out on and off (more off than on) for the past 2 years. For goals, I'd like to do anything that's reasonable. I'd more speficially like to work on chest/arms/abs (legs are really strong and toned to begin with). My chest is sort of a problem area (I don't have bitch tits...but I've got poofy nipples so it gives that sort of appearence).

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I haven't worked out STEADY without any interruptions in a long time, and this summer I have a lot more time than usual so I can hit the gym 5 days a week. I just want to see the most amount of growth I possibly can (natural but w/ supplements).

WEll, if your main goal is to add as much size as possible, a low carb diet is not the way to go. If you are really sensitive to carbs (like me), then you could limit carb intake to around 100-150g/day, with most of them being immediately before and after your workout.

Check out the training section and read the John Smith, HST and DFHT stickies for new programs that will get your growing like never before.
