Looking for advice: Testosterone cycle for cosmetic/quality-of-life reasons (not bodybuilding)

You need knowledge and a field that makes you happy in your life.
Happiness is a good source of motivation. Stronger than testosterone.

Not drugs that will do things for you. Because that's not the case, no one injects themselves with motivation. Except the drug addicts who screw up their body and their mental health.

You'll regret it with time (because you don't need TRT), and frustrated to see that it didn't change anything, you'll feel like a piece of shit in front of yourself.
Well I’d say I’m pretty happy, great work, friends and hobbies. I just wouldn’t say no to look superhot haha

I’m not doing any drugs and not drinking too much or anything like that otherwise (except finasteride and retatrutide which I love).

But thank you so much for your words, I really appreciate it. My question tho is, most people here are on TRT either because of low testosterone or bodybuilding? No just general improvement of life? And have you had bad experience with testosterone?

Honestly the opinions varies so much it’s crazy.

Cheers!

Why would you do testo injects when your up in de high ref. range ?

Ref: 8.6-29nmol/L
Because I’ve heard it can still improve life and not have bad side effects. I was so worried about finasteride side effects and retatrutide, so many people said it would suck but I’ve had none and it only improved my life. I’m thinking if test would do the same. I would benefit for some more energy, confidence, drive and fitness ofc.

Go read the new member rules and etiquette. Do what it says to do.

You are not deficient in testosterone. Use your common sense to realize that taking something you aren't deficient in is not going to change your lazy habits.

Stop being lazy

Don't use drugs to try and fix things that you refuse to fix for yourself.

That's not performance enhancement, it's just straight up drug abuse

Get off your ass
So you’re saying everyone here who’s on testosterone is either because of deficiency or bodybuilding reasons? No in between could benefit a person?

Hey guys,

Looking for some grounded advice about low dose TRT and HCG.

About me:

– 30s, average/slightly athletic build

– Goal: lean, sharp, “handsome fit” not bodybuilder

– Labs: mid–high T naturally, good total, free and SHBG

– Meds: finasteride + retatrutide (which has been great)

– Lifestyle: Not too active, 191cm, 85kg

Plan I’m considering:

– Daily subq testosterone, ~120–170 mg/week total (so ~17–25 mg/day) insulin syringe

– Daily hCG micro-doses subq with an insulin pin

Goal is cosmetic + psychological: better energy, libido, confidence, recomposition. Not chasing too much strength or mass but wanna be lean fit/strong.

I might get clowned on but I’d really appreciate some honest thoughts.

You think this will be beneficial for me and according to my goals, can I do this long term or only short etc? Really thankful for advice!

(I’ve also done all the bloodwork needed thus far and will do the follow-ups needed)
If your hormones are optimal, & based on what you’ve just said, they are. What’s the point in shutting yourself down to replace what you already have in the form of exogenous testosterone?

You can easily achieve your goal with your own natural hormones. People think TRT is a miracle & it’s really not, only for people who really need it.

People in TRT to improve their lives are in TRT because their body needed it. Cause of low testostérone.
Otherwise it's just syringe addicts who convinced themselves that an injection was magic.

Opinions differ because we are all different. Personally, I thought I needed testosterone. No libido, always tired, etc...
And finally I was just unhappy with a bit of sleep apnea and my testo was similar to yours.

I took the step of using PEDs for bodybuilding after 15 years of training. I didn't feel better and even worse lazy and tired with 200+ mg of testosterone lol. It didn't solve and fix anything about "life improvement"

And now I am stucked for life in TRT for this choice. Infertile and illegal forever.
Thanks god I've never had any side effect a'd get child before.
But I know a lot of people who have gynecomastia with 100mg of test per week and live alone because no woman wants them for many reason...

These things come from lifestyle, habits, discipline and effort.

Nobody has ever injected testosterone and suddenly gained a bag full of new tools. Especially someone who wasn't deficient to begin with.

Stop being lazy. Don't look for drugs to do what you refuse to do for yourself.

If you want more energy, sleep better, eat better, get more active and find activities that put you into a happy energetic mood.

Fitness only happens when you make it happen. Go make it happen.

I’m just so fucking lazy it’s crazy I can’t get my self to go to the gym or do productive things after work. Ive heard testosterone might change that?
Come on now. You have higher test than most naturals but want to blame hormones for your lack of willpower.

Youre not gonna get anything from replacing your endogenous test with injections and not going to the gym, except for shutting yourself down, realizing it’s a useless idea, and then having to restart natural production or just keep using trt to stay the same.

All that trt shilling is bs man. You gotta do the work. The Work is the magic bullet. Steroids are like a gun but it’s worth Jack if you don’t have that magic bullet.

Lean & sharp is just a diet and cardio bro for a couple months no matter how much trt or blasting gets done.

Honestly your goals are attainable quickly with a mindset adjustment, building good, consistent habits, and a little elbow grease.

Whether you think it's bullshit or not it did work for me and change my life. Went from sedentary barely able to get myself to work out once a week to having to force myself not to go 7 days a week because it was interfering with my life... heh. So while it may or may not help him, it is a big deal for many of us.

I mean for a guy with high test .. not for people who need trt medically

Having discipline to train and eat eat consistently healthy seems to be needed. Drugs really can't over come those issues.

Total Testosterone: 28 nmol/L / ~808 ng/dL
I was between like 350 - 410

Bro he literally has twice your natural testosterone production. This is different. He won't feel what you felt.

His own testo production is in high range already. No TRT needed
