First cycle in several years, advice please!

What’s up Meso!


I’m fairly new here—more active on other forums—but I figured I’d post and get some advice from the greats in this industry.


I’ve always been a bigger-framed guy. I’m 6’0" and my weight has fluctuated between 220–300 lbs most of my life. At one point, I even hit my lowest at 186 lbs. No matter what, my body seems to want to settle back around the 240 range (I honestly believe that’s my natural “set point”).


I attached two photos:


  • First photo (yellow boxers): Taken while coming off a cut cycle. The products I used were Sustanon (500–700 mg), Tren Ace (200–250 mg), and Nolva/Anadrol (as the starting oral).
  • Second photo (mirror, 248 lbs): Taken after my release from prison (2021–2023).

During that first cycle, I made great progress, but I wasn’t as knowledgeable about anabolics as I am today. I had plenty of sides: gyno (as you can see), tren rage, uncontrollable sex drive, bad acne, etc. But interestingly, the more severe issues (night sweats, tren cough, bad lipids) weren’t too bad—I actually respond pretty well to tren. Back then I mostly just listened to “bro science” on forums without researching titration or considering the idea that less is often better.


Fast forward: I recently got updated bloodwork, so I have a solid baseline again. My androgen receptors and body have essentially reset since that first picture (190–200 lbs, from 2021). While locked up, I trained fairly consistently, but between commissary “pockets,” working kitchen detail, and being a store man, I definitely ate a lot of carbs (gotta love those pockets).


My current goal:
I want to get back down to the 220–230 lb range, but this time with size and definition. My approach will be “less is more”—starting low and only increasing as needed until I find the sweet spot of maximum results with minimal sides.


With all the newer information and compounds available, I’d like your advice:


  • What would you change or add to my planned cycle to help me reach this goal?
  • I’ll drop my planned cycle and current stats below.

CURRENT BODY STATS:

AGE: 34
HEIGHT: 6'0
WEIGHT: 272 LBS. (GOAL: 230-240)
BODY FAT: 28% (GOAL: 18-20%)


PLANNED CYCLE:

WEEK 1-16: (WILL DO LONGER IF POSSIBLE WHEN I GET BLOODWORK DONE AT 15 WEEKS TO CHECK PANEL)

Testosterone Enanthate - 250mg EOD **WILL TITRATE UP SLOWLY UNTIL MAX EFFECTIVE DOSE IS REACHED**

Primobolan Enanthate - 300mg EOD (Higher E2 so didn't do 1:1) **WILL TITRATE UP SLOWLY UNTIL MAX EFFECTIVE DOSE IS REACHED**

Aromasin - 12.mg EOD

Levothyroxine T4 & Cytomel T3 **I have hypothyroidism so I use these to help regulate, I will also be dosing T3 according to help aid in fat loss.**

HGH - 2iu(slowly upping until 4-5iu max) daily before morning cardio/workout session fasted. **I was doing at night, but because we eat later when my girlfriend gets home due to work, its hard to keep glucose stable. So doing this early morning before cardio fasted, worked better for myself.**

Retatrutide (Starting dose: 2mg, titrating up slowly until max dose of 8mg is achieved)


PRODUCTS I HAVE THAT I COULD IMPLEMENT:

Anavar - (Weeks 1-4 or 12-16 @ 20mg daily pre workout.)

Tren Ace - (Weeks 1-8 or 8-16 @ 75mg weekly) **Will not go over this dosage, Plenty of anecdotal evidence stating that lower dose trenbolgne sammichs can benefit and achieve desired results with way less negativity on your body and mental.**

Arimidex - IF NEEDED

TELMISARTAN - IF NEEDED

NPP - (Weeks 1-16 @ 100-200mg a week) *aid is size and lubrication of joints as I am older, and I tore something in my leg in prison during a softball tournament, the muscle from the bottom of my ass cheek all the way down to the back of my calf. It was black/purple/blue. Couldn't walk. Couldn't put pressure on it. Medical in prison systems is non existent. Said it was a pulled muscle. Finally healed 9-12 weeks later, and still till this day its hurts when I do cardio and basic leg exercises.

Dbol - (Weeks 1-5 to kickstart cycle @ 10-20mgs daily pre workout)

So yeah that's about it, just looking on guidance and advice on my cycle. What I could do better or adjust. I am a fairly good responder to every anabolic I provided as I have used them prior in earlier years. (NPP, PRIMO). With DBOL I generally don't hold much water and I get really good size increase and gains on 5 weeks as previously used in other cycles. I am not looking to purely lose weight, but gain increasing size and mass during these winter times and in the summer full cut down with all that increased lean mass. Advice…. Drop you weight and body fat before you do anything even GH. Also at 272 you prob aren’t 28% BF. Not trying to be a dick but your overweight and adding AAS in right now is going to cause more harm than good. Plus don’t even think about Tren like ever again until you are around 12%. Each their own though. Cycle advice, TRT if you need maybe some Reta til you get everything else dialed in.

No worries. I am on on several forums. So I ended up just doing test, reta, and gh(already started) When I used Tren I was under 20% body fat. I was in the best shape of my life. But yeah, during prison and the first year I got out I just gained a lot of weight. Didn't focus on diet and working out at all due to having to get everything else in my life back in order. Thats just an excuse though. But I'll get it back and I appreciate your input bro.

Nah bro I get it. If your brother in arms aren't tough on you they don't truly care. I appreciate the honesty. Thanks for the wishes as well, I will update month by month my progress !
 
I was vicariously hoping you'd choose low dose tren while cutting but don't let that sway you towards the arms of the demon.

HGH with fasted cardio

Drop that fat and build once your below 15%. I know a lot of guys say 10%... that's not desirable for everyone.
 
I don't think it's unreasonable to run a 1g Test + GH on a cut.

If you have the money, I can't think of a reason why even a natty shouldn't run low-dose GH.

The issue is whether or not you can do it without undue harm to your body.
My thoughts would be:

Code:
- 250 Test for 4 weeks
  - What is your BP? How do you feel?

- 500 Test for 4 weeks.
  - What is your BP? How do you feel?
  - Get bloods: CBC/CMP, Lipids, Test, E2
  - If BP and bloods look good, continue

- 750 Test for 4 weeks
  - Repeat the above

- 1g Test
  - Labs every 4-6 weeks

Personally, I wouldn't use an AI, but that's your call.
 
I don't mean to break your balls here but the pic you labeled "yellow boxers", in which you're coming of a cycle of Sustanon at 500 - 700mgs, Tren A at 200 - 250mgs, and Anadrol (presumably between 50 - 100mgs per day) does not match with what those compounds should do to a physique when combined with hard work and a dialed in diet. Again, I'm not trying to be insulting or disrespectful in the slightest. Your physique in that pic just doesn't match up with the knowledge you seem to have about PED's and the drugs you were taking at the time. It seems like the missing elements are diet and effort in the gym. I could be completely wrong and you're just a really low responder who works out like a savage animal 6 days a week with a locked in diet. I just expected a a bigger and cleaner physique when I read your post.

What is your diet like? What are your sessions in the gym like? Was that your first ever cycle and how long did you run it for?

I can relate to being locked up and not having access to proper nutrition. Before my daughter was born I did 2.5yrs back in the early 2000s (I manned up and got my shit together the day she was born), and even with max commissary every week I still didn't get adequate protein to reach my needs, despite being a lean 190lbs at the time. The guys from my city all worked out together. We took all our frustration and rage out in those workouts and it was great. The issue was always not getting the protein we needed. My 1/2 brother is a decade into a 20yr sentence and the same is true for him in a state facility.

Anyway, from the outside looking in it just looks like you could get a helluva lot more out of that Sus, Ace, Adrol cycle. I'm just curious as to what your plan is beyond rhe drugs i.e., diet, workout schedule, sleep, supplements, etc.
