Labs at 6 weeks Apo A And B

**Labs are 6 weeks in on 600 mg Test Cyp and 300 mg NPP — and my cholesterol took a shit!**
I've never had my Apo A and B levels outside the normal range before. 56-year-old male who's run 6 cycles over the years, every time my cholesterol is usually the worst hit I see on labs.

How concerned should I be about my cardiac risk?

Thanks all

Hey thanks for the reply. End of last cycle was 11/24 was 103 but as you can see it’s been up and down. Mostly up.

Short term spikes don't significantly increase risk of some immenent CV event, it's more about the long term averages. unfortunately your baseline is already high, and you have some long term "spikes" I assume come from TRT.

I don't know your other factors, like BP, CRP etc, but that LDL puts 10 year risk somewhere between 60-85% vs 5-15% if you had BP under 130/80 and lipids in ideal range.

You could achieve that pretty easily with mild meds that have no sides for most people, and even turn around some of the unstable plaque accumulation cumulatively reducing risk over time.

Although not good, you could probably try out some ezetimibe at 10mg/day to see where that takes you. It alone may bring you down into a good, safe range. If not, then you can look at a low dose statin add on. Just MO.
