Has anyone used injectable L Carnitine?

As a first time user I ordered 1000mg / ml and this stuff is super thick .

I can only draw with a 18g needle and when I inject with a 25g needle ( 50 cc @ 500mg) it takes both thumbs to push it through and prob around 45- 60 seconds .

Also I put some on my finger to rub and it feels like lube and after awhile it gets sticky like honey .

I store it in the fridge also and I let it sit out and nothing changed. I messaged the supplier SSA and they assured me that it’s good to go and very normal . I sent them videos and they confirmed it’s due to the high concentration.

Chatgtp says that according to all my information above that it was more than likely mixed with glycerol and should feel like water by touch and never sticky . And if it’s mixed with oil or glycerol to absolutely not inject it . It also stated you should be able to draw it with a 25g needle although it would be slow .

I bought a whole kit and don’t want to waste it , I’m just looking for someone that can co-sign that they use this protect . Reddit and Google are dead ends and chatgtp say it’s a no go .

Thanks !! I appreciate yall.

Although being water-based, injectable L-carnitine is known to be more viscous. I personally use 600 mg/ml so I'd imagine your dose would be even more thick than normal.

For drawing, I use a multi-vial spike (google what that is if you don't know) and draw it in a literal second. I do the same for my oils. Then you just pop whatever needle you want on it.

You'll hear commonly that L-carnitine has a bite to it, pip-wise, and its true. I recommend only doing IM and doing so in your ventro-glutes. After about a week, your ventro-glutes at that site will get use to it and will be pain free. Alternate glutes as needed.

Let me know how SSA's 1000 mg/ml goes - I've been personally interested in their exact product, for affordability and dosing convenience.

Mannnnnn I appreciate your response. I used it once and CHATGTP is calling me an idiot for even considering it lol.

I couldnt draw it with my 25g so I got a 18g to draw it and swapped tips to the 25g. I could inject it but it is super slow. I hate needles and never done IM . As soon as I was done i got light headed for 30 seconds or so I dont want to go with the 18g to inject . Its a mental thing for me.

I found a video that was awesome and I injected in the thigh with no pain at all. BUT the slow injection had me so worried and I was like " is it supposed to be like this? " .

Did you watch the attached video , is yours sticky after awhile ?
I went to the gym with no issues and had no crazy pain just the normal soreness Ive read about.

Thanks for the tips on multi spike and ventro-glutes . Ill go look at that now .

EDIT: Multi Spike is a game changer !!

Np. L carn is a bit different than your usual peptides. If you hate needles then the light headedness is probably just mental tbh, since you were sitting there pinning forever.

It sounds like you went sub-q for your injection so expect a lump/nodule that'll last weeks lol. I sub-q L carn once and will never do so again. It's a lot less pip but the nodules will start to stack up if you plan on injecting daily. Learn to identify where your ventro glutes are for IM and you'll never go back to anything else.

Not sure if you're on gear since you said you hate needles but I feel like L carn is more worth it if you're already on androgens since it upregulate androgen receptors, amongst other benefits. Did you feel like you had extra cardio capacity? If so then the product is probably good to go. My endurance and recovery is stellar on 600mg+ of it daily, pre-workout pinned 45 mins prior.

just remember to "not hold your breath" when you are struggling to push thick oil through a small needle, lol "Breath",,,

Don't bother asking GPT.

Looks like my 700+mg/ml glutathione brew.
Yes, it's normal, that's what happens at that dose.
Dilute it to 700mg/ml and use a 29g insulin pin at room temperature.
I draw with a 22g then backfill my 29g insulin pin.
You can use saline or b.a water or sterile water.

You can try 800mg/ml if you don't mind struggling for a minute or so.

It is 100% mental . I cant look as my blood is drawn by the dr. I went IM in the thigh with a 25g 1 inch needle and had no pain with the initial injection . I cant say I had extra cardio capacity as my leg was sore before I hopped on the treadmill. I appreciate your response and Im watching this thread closely as this is the most info I recieved thus far on the supject matter.

Based on the responses so far and no wild side effects from the inital dose I will take another tomorrow and monitor .

No I am not on gear and this is my first ever IM injection . I plan on IM with Glutathione next.

Thanks for that . Ill look into diluting it . I would have to purchase empty vials and go down that road but let me do some research on how to. For context Im 5'8" 192lbs 43yr . I see the recommended starting dose is 500mg for that weight .

Im on multiple peptides and am now entering the best shape of my life so Im trying to see what else I can do to impact my journey is a positive manner. Hence why I joined this forum . I wanted to research TRT . I did a full blood panel and have a TRT score of 378 and classified as " Normal " . To be honest I dont think I have symptoms of low T but a few friends pretty much said " you didnt know what you were missing until you got it" .
I have a consultation with a local TRT clinic tomorrow to get some advice .

Having no insurance or DR ( Im a self employeed degen ) I was hoping I could find someone who could professionally advise me by monitoring my blood work and I could just treat myself as I have access to everything needed through the gray market. But Im no idiot and do not want to ruin my body .
So I may just go through a clinic and pay them their monthy subscription as I learn more and more and my thoughts are , if my free test ( idk what it is yet ) is too low , maybe I can pin a little extra at home and let them monitor me . Then eventually just fly solo .

But again , idk if I even want to start TRT . Im still on my weight loss journey and focused on that.

My next addition to my stack will be HGH . Its on the way but I still have alot of research to do on it before I pin.

Thanks again for all the info and everyone taking their time to respond. Im just a dude whos dad and grandpa passed at 65 due to heart issues and Im a single father of a 8yr old and I want to be the healthiest person for myself and him .

What spikes do you use for oil?
I get these off of amazon Amazon.com. You might want to buy caps for it too but I forgot what they're called. TBH I sometimes don't even cap it since I keep it in a sterile environment. The spikes and caps can be a bit pricey if you're a cheap fuck like me but it's soooo much more convenient for your day-to-day routine. PLUS it allows you to not dull your needle before you even get to pin your skin.

It'll get better. Force yourself to look next time, that's what I did in the beginning. If you stay with pinning your quads, just be extra cautious. Plenty of horror stories on the web of bad pins. Bunch of nerves, veins, and whatever else. I'll pin anything IM but quads (delts, rear delts, triceps, glutes, etc.). Take it with a bit of fast acting carbs too, about 20g+. Helps with its delivery mechanism.

Fuck lol . I ordered 1500mg . Im in for it lol.

Those come lyophilized (powder).
You need to add either sterile water or bacteriostatic water to "dissolve".
Depending on how much you add, you can adjust the mg/ml.
Adding 2ml of liquid for e.g, will give you a solution of 1.5/2=750mg/ml.

I dont think you can do more than 800mg/ml but i may be wrong..you might need a 18g needle at that point to inject..

Like these correct ? Also when the bottle is done do you toss these or clean and put on the next bottle ?

I tried the glute but I got as far as pushing the needle to my cheek and got nervous of not holding the needle straight and being able to see 100% what I was doing etc.
Then I can across a awesome video with a guy sitting down and showing exactly how to do it and the comments were great. He swore 0 pain . His technique was to jab in swiftly and cough at the same time. So I just followed his direction on where to inject and then after 5 min of talking to myself I did it and zero pain , zero blood , zero bruising etc. The mental shit is what go me lol. Then after looking it up and everyone saying this was lcarn ... bros ... I was in panic mode thinking I needed to go to the ER because I injected "500mg" of something that wasn't what I thought it was lol.

Im very familiar with peptides and reconstitution but I havent received the Glut and assumed it would be just like my L carn due to the high concentration and being IM .
If it comes in a powder I will reconstitute in that area as if L carn at 1000mg is this thick I would like it to be alot thinner .

According to my research I should be using 200mg 3 days a week after workout. What do you fellas suggest for a first timer?

What are your ALT and AST values?

Most adapters are only good for peptides..

Yep, pretty sure its those exact ones. Thats awesome man, glad its working for you at that injection site.

If you have time, maybe take a read.

Yeah man idk what this post you linked is on about. I used to go to a clinic for my TRT shots years ago and they were the ones who introduced me to multi-dose spikes. And sure enough, they were drawing my test out of a vial with a spike. Super sterile clinic too. Been using it for years myself now as well in my home. All sorts of oils.

Can you give me more insight on how that relates as Im learning about all this .

ALT=25
AST=19
Not sure if it matters but I'm on a caloric deficit and losing weight . I know that can affect certain readings not sure on these though.
I think he's asking since Glutathione is used to detox the liver, so he was curious about your liver values. Though, GGT is a much better test indicator of liver health.

Some other unsolicited advice since I recall you saying you're health oriented and have familial history of cardiac problems. I would highly recommend getting your lipids. Add on Apo B testing as well. Your Apo B and LDL scores will give you a general view of whether or not you're laying down plaque in your arteries and have signs of atherosclerosis. You're at that age too, to be needing to worry about this for preventive cardiac care. Fixes are relatively easy, statins, ezetimibe, cardio, etc but you want to bring those numbers down, well within normal reference and even below. Easy to source if you've been sourcing your peptides off here. I'm on gear but also very big on health and longevity.
