Levrone has always been known to come off long layoffs looking good. But i think this will be a disaster. And even in his prime he couldnt compete with some of the top guys right now ...
What do u mean by "compete" ? Beat them? BC I'm pretty sure he's competing against them now , prime or not.

Id be tickled pink if anyone beat that asshat phil. I don't think Levrone will win though, if he comes dialed in right I see a top 10 finish being possible but won't break the top 5. No, shit box Branch Warren will probably place higher (if he qualifies) cause the olympia judging is retarded.
I agree. Phil Heath used to really rub me wrong with his attitude but the past year he seems to have really chilled out. Confident still but not such an ass about it. I expected the interview with levrone to be different but Heath seemed pretty respectful there. And man I like branch but I think levrone will at least place higher than him haha

Levrone being my favorite bodybuilder, I'd like to see him come in with a physique that can place in the top 10.
Levrone at his prime was probably one of the best physiques from the 90's imo - he had ridiculous size and still had a tight waist and excellent conditioning for the amount of size he was pushing. Take a look at the 1999 british grand prix video - absolutely freaking looking.

That comparison sucks. Levrone is a living legend. Outside of the Olympia his achievements are almost second to none.

It's a contentious point because Levrone probably would have never been made Mr.O - regardless of how he looked or what he brought on stage.
Do you really think the bodybuilding industry (supplement industry) is going to make the ambassador for their sport a guy who can take 6 months off training and drugs and still come in bigger and better than the year before?
Kind of hard to sell supplements to people when the man representing the sport pretty much demonstrates it's all about the genetics.

Agree 100%. That's like saying levrone did nothing as a professional. Breaking top 5 in Olympia, an individual sport , is ten times the success tebow had in his professional career

Yeah, that is true. I was just kind of getting at the whole Levrone won basically everything but the olympia and equate those shows to college football and the nfl being the olympia.. idk ya the joke sucked. whatever lol
The kind of guys who know this info about bodybuilders, (us) , know that it's mostly about genetics and drugs when ur competing at that level anyways, not what supplement brands they use. Yes the training and diet is crucial at that point but all the Olympia level guys have that to a tee.
