Obviously the cops let them in. I don't believe there was any anything nefarious. I feel they wanted to avoid bloodshed.

The people that took part were there to protest what they were told was a stolen election. Trump could and should have pardoned everyone of them, but that would have taken courage, and Trump is the opposite of courage.

Also that would require trump to care even a tiny little bit about average working Americans...which he absolutely couldn't care less about any of us. He is one of the most selfish, greedy, awful fucking people out there and he has and would continue to fuck over The People every chance he gets to funnel more money up to the tippy top...

Yes. there is no concern for ordinary people, for ordinary clerks and workers. Nobody cares about us (

For me, Trump is a typical politician who is only guided by his own personal benefit. Emu is alien to caring for people, typical rich man

Hmm, so it’s normal protocol to just let people in to the Capital building? Come on Paul.

Some cops were not as motivated to resist as vigorously as they were expected to. I think that it was out of sympathy for the protesters rather than being liberals masquerading as Trump loyalists attempting to make trump look bad if that is what you are asking. I think I understand what you are asking.

It is just more likely in my opinion that it was just a mob that was effectively manipulated to stop the steal.

I saw it as a setup by Pelosi & crew so they could do exactly what they did - impeach Trump, hoping to ensure he can never run again.

Do you think Trump was a hostage to the situation and had nothing to do with it, and there were people above who manipulated the situation?

I have a strong feeling that there were political games for the division of the white house, and people turned out to be only pawns in the game

Why can't it have been the middle. Let's say trump wasn't TRYING to start a revolution. But the way he talks is so inflammatory and stupid, that some of his less intelligent followers who are so good at critical thinking, decided between what He was saying and what the caries most extremist people on the far-right message boards were saying, he was calling upon them to "save the country from the dems stealing HIS election". So a few thousand people crazy enough to belive it showed up, got into a mob mentality, and did some crazy shit.

Why is that so hard to believe? Then, especially with the idiots saying "defund the police" and antagonizing law enforcement officers, the LEO'S at the protest-turned-riot/insurrection decided fuck this I am gonna let people do whatever for many different reasons, but among them I imagine were: fuck resisting this insane mob, there is way too many of them and I don't want to get beaten/trampled/maime/possibly killed; and fuck this I am more on trumps side than the left anyway let's let people express their feelings.

Maybe they hoped they'd wear themselves out over time and things wouldn't go as far as they did. Who knows. But then obviously when they broke into the capitol building some of the cops felt the need to resist because shit was going too far.

I just don't see why it has to be "trump did all this on purpose and masterminded the whole thing" undoubtedly he created the situation and heavily fueled it because that's just what he does. but also more likely is that Russia and China were among the posters on these far right message boards who have been trying very hard to destabilize the US for a long time (and are very much succeeding). IMO they were most likely the ones who were sending out those "Trump needs you!" Emails or whatever the fuck people were getting telling them to fly to DC and shit.

Just like with the far left riots over the police brutality and killings/murders of civilians: we have seen both the left and the right go WAY too far in the last couple years. It is time to fucking stop being insane and start thinking critical about how to actually solve the problems that plague this country.

Campaign finance and political lobbying is the biggest issue because nothing will ever get done when there's millions of dollars on the line to help a career politician keep their career. I think if we all just focused on that as a country for like a few months we could figure it out and have a much better system that both sides would be happier with.

He definitely had people around him that helped facilitate the attempted coup. The only question I have is is he a pathological liar, delusional or both.

How did you say everything correctly. Respect to you and put everything on the shelves and in detail. And the picture, of course, is terrible and most importantly, ordinary people turned out to be extreme
