I'm curious to know if anyone here uses Insulin or IGF-1 for powerlifting purposes?
Such as to gain weight or general nutrient shuttling?

I saw a recent cycle of Scott Mendlesons and although he is extreme to say the least, he took 500iu's of slin a week apparently alongside 3g of Test and 1.5g of Tren. Oh and 500mg Adrol per day lol No wonder he can barely breathe in his videos!
Its in the Steroidify thread. Do a search for 500 bench press and it brings it up.I don't personally see much benefit to it. I think it's much more of a bodybuilding drug... I think it would be really messy for a PLer unless weight class really doesn't matter, which would be odd. You'd basically have to already be in the highest weight class and want to max it out?
Where did you see this?
He use to lift in the Super heavyweights which is unlimited - Its fairly well known that in Bench press and Deadlift the more bodyweight you can carry the more you can lift. Its still ultimately one of the best nutrient shuttlers there is, if not the best.I don't personally see much benefit to it. I think it's much more of a bodybuilding drug... I've only ever run it after training kinda in that range for about a month. Do you find doing it pre-workout gives you more strength if you carb load also?try 4-8iu slin preworkout and tell me your lifts arent moving better.
Just make sure you dont go hypo.

yes. I dont train for powerlifting though.I've only ever run it after training kinda in that range for about a month. Do you find doing it pre-workout gives you more strength if you carb load also?
Using insulin seems to me to be a mistake. It is necessary to approach nutrition more correctly in order to teach the body to eat and assimilate. otherwise, as a rule, we make mistakes in nutrition and try to compensate for them using insulinI'm curious to know if anyone here uses Insulin or IGF-1 for powerlifting purposes?

As for me, the amount of weight is not always an increase in the result for a particular person. Since if you take sumo pull, then the angles change and it becomes difficult for a person to use force optimallyHe use to lift in the Super heavyweights which is unlimited - Its fairly well known that in Bench press and Deadlift the more bodyweight you can carry the more you can lift. If you know what you are doing you are fine with it, 10g of Dextrose to 1iu of Slin. I've run it before up to 7iu's per time but ideally you need a blood glucose meter as it can catch you out especially after training when your body is using more carbs to replenish itself together with the insulin taking it into the muscle out of the bloodstream too. I'm not asking people who have never run it before whether it is risky or not - I'm asking the others who have tried it how effective it was for strength gains and weight addition in general. I only ran it for a few weeks as the hypos caught me out a few times and I lost my nerve with it. I will try lantus next time rather than fast acting which is too aggressive. This is what we are talking about. The risks are very high and I'm sure the game is not worth starting. I think it is worth organizing proper nutrition and recovery. Than to resort to insulin. But nevertheless, there are many risky guys.

STH, STH... somatotropic hormone (GH)? You'll confuse non-Russians with this.IGF-1 is an anabolic hormone that stimulates growth processes in almost all tissues of the body and is supposedly responsible for the realization of many STH effects. It is formed mainly in the liver and also in other tissues, including skeletal muscles, under the influence of STH. In skeletal muscle, IGF-1 affects protein metabolism by increasing protein synthesis. On adipose tissue, it has an insulin-like effect, stimulating glucose uptake and suppressing lipolysis. Rather, it will have a better effect on recovery processes. Insulin is a dangerous topic, I know cases of death. However, severe categories can be used if there is a great emphasis on carbohydrates, but here everything is very individual. You can buy a coffin in advance.
I just heard a lot how the guys were dying on insulin and no one could help them in time. Like I said, I'm not sure it's worth the risk.
