Improperly Stored Powder

Friend has around 50g of TE powder. It has been left in a box and set in a closet in a non airtight bag, essentially open air. It has been sitting for around 5 years.

Would it be worth it to try to salvage this powder and send it off to be tested, or should it just be discarded?

TE is known for pip after improperly storing for even short amounts of time, melting point is very low. Sending it for testing may be a waste of time. Even if it comes back good, it will likely have crippling pip and be unusable. Maybe try to brew some and test a little bit, probably not worth it though

Thanks for the reply. This is what I was thinking. The first brew 5 years ago was super smooth and pipless so had me thinking there was a chance. Will probably just vac it for a doomsday stash

Will take some. Yeah I could buy 5x that for the cost of Jano lol, which is also a factor. I would like to get some cyp powder but I don't want the piss yellow chemical concoction going around.

Mate, I just received AASraw cypionate, literally today, lol. It is white grainy powder and smells just like many raws I have bought before from other vendors.

Yellow and chemical smell is usually residual solvents.
