If I may put my 2 cents worth in; they say it is fine to end the life of an unborn child. But we shouldn't have firearms because there is the POSSIBILITY of someone getting hurt.

I have a problem along those lines. OK you have two drunk drivers. They each hit a car with a lady that is 2 months pregnant. One lady loses her baby. She was married and was looking forward to having this kid. The second lady doesnt want her kid and gets an abortion. Now the drunk driver that hit the first lady is in deep shit b/c he killed a 2 month old baby that was alive. He is guilty of vehicular homicide. Now the second lady can go get an abortion b/c she just has a dead mass of tissue in her belly. I just want to know how can something only be alive if the mother wants it? Sad about the drunk driver but how is that vehicular homicide if a baby isn't really alive when its in the womb? Shit like that pisses me off. You cant have it both ways

I have no doubt the tax cuts benefitted some individuals, however, on a national perspective and in hindsight, they were fiscally irresponsible. And if the public starts thinking that giving us 500 extra dollars is what makes a good president, we are all in deep shit. As in my previous post, I said I am against overly progressive taxes, but taxes are a necessity in our society. Should there be a limit? Absolutely, and I would go as far as to say it should be lower than it is now.

What really needs to happen, is the government needs to get more effecient with their money, its pathetic how ineffectual government programs are~Sensational

Now I will agree with you in that the spending has gone completely out of wack. Some of that is understandable due to the war. However that is already being corrected.

I would personally like to thank the great Newt Gingrich and his #1 selling book, the Contract with America that enlighted all of us on how government can be better.
