How much ya skwaat?

You are wrong at the most basic fundamental level. Nothing more foolish has ever been said on the internet as this^^^^.
U think u carry wieght here and wanna swing your dick around because you've got the second highest post count next to scally. And got so many likes because alot of fuckers on mesorx admire big soft power lifters like yourself.

Let me shock u boys some more...
U don't need cardio to burn fat, cardio isn't needed to body build. All u need to do is taper your calories and keep the muscles breaking down with 72 hrs in between training sessions per muscle

This I can actually agree with. I have never had to change my cardio up to re comp my body. It's all in the diet.

Thats weird because my knee tendonitis that I used to have, If I went parallel it would put stress on the knee tendon and hurt. so I had to go a2g.

Yeah bro but I had reconstructive surgery on my knee and it physically won't allow me to go below parallel. What actually happens is that my good knee wants to drop lower and my bad knee stops, so my butt tilts to the right, I lose my tension and out goes the power. Sux

Squat is up to 235/557 in the gym, 210/462 in full powerlifting meet. I'm hoping to increase that within a couple of months at the next comp, though.

Why so much lower in meet? Just asking cause from what I've read you should (if training right) always strive for a pr on your third attempt. I did my first meet 3 weeks ago and set prs on all my lifts but bench

nother thing to think about is a meet is a one time chance, we workout many times a week, sometimes we all know we are stronger that day. I think it is one of the best feelings in the world when you get that super strong everything feels light day at the gym

I can answer this... My gym max was a while ago, I'm working back up to that.
This competition was just a warm up for the next one - I went to accompany a friend, who was in a lower weight category than me...
So we left home at 4am, I didn't start lifting til 2pm, was pretty fucking tired by then.
Squat warm up went terribly, I fell over backwards in final warm up, hurting by back on the bar on the floor... Considered giving up and going home... Powered through. Did OK, not amazing.

Makes sense. That sucks bro sorry to hear.

I have used it with success, it seems to work best for squats for me. I didn't like it for deadlifts, but that is mostly because of equipment issues at gym.

Power lifting in my mind is useless.
It's not functional, can't use it to fight better. It fucks your joints and tendons... Does nothing for aesthetics... It's not bodybuilding

You know, you're right... Powerlifting isn't bodybuilding... They are two different styles and sports. Just like baseball isn't football. Thanks captain obvious.

Funny that you say PL can't be used to fight better.... The stronger you are, the more power you can exert.

In my years of MMA I always had to match up with guys 50lbs or more out of my weight class during training because I was so much stronger then them, and yes, some of them were "bodybuilders." When it came to grappling I would absolutely fucking throw them around because of power built through PL, and good luck getting out of any submission hold...

Also noticed a huge difference in punch and kick power. Stronger delts, tri's, hips and glutes helped that.

Don't get me wrong, I run bodybuilding phases to gain size in my training, but I'm not going to hate on something just because. Everything has its purpose...

And you can train for aesthetics all you want. If you don't have the genetics to have great aesthetics, all the training in the world isn't going to change it...

415 for a triple last week before straining my back speed pulling again =\ I think I had 1-2 left in the tank too...

Max somewhere north of 455 currently, about 3 months after knee surgery.
