Hey guys, so if we slam down carbs the body releases insulin and stores whatever is in the bloodstream. Two questions actually. Once the body has stored everything and the small intestine and liver are empty will it continue to burn glucose as a primary fuel source? Second question. If we slam down 100g of fats the hormones needed to clear the FFA's from the bloodstream are completely different. So what would happen once the body clears 100g of fat from the bloodstream? Would it continue to keep the hormones necessary to break fat and begin to eat fat in stores assuming there is no insulin release? Or does it revert back to using glucose as a primary energy fuel source?
Thanks in advance to anyone!
