HGH AM or PM

Anyone have sleep issues when taking daily low dose (2iu) before bed? At this dosage is it recommended to split am/pm or just take it 1 time a day
Sleeping should improve with 2iu before bed. Perhaps your body might needs time to adjust. I wouldn’t split 2iu, that’s the minimum dose you should aim for. Starting at 4iu you could consider splitting the dose depending of your goal.

This isn't necessarily true, a lot of people report sleep issues on GH (as evidenced by this thread). Which makes sense if you look into the complexity of the relationship between GHRH, GH, and sleep.
 
Originally, I started taking it in the evening, but I had difficulty sleeping and was waking up frequently throughout the night. After switching to morning dosing, my sleep has improved significantly.

I’ve also noticed that post-injection, HGH seems to give me a noticeable boost of energy, which likely contributed to the sleep disruption when taken in the PM. For that reason, taking it in the morning works best for me at this time.
 
Just want to point out that supraphysiological dosages of androgens, which most of us are enjoying, can also wreck sleep. The 19-nor's get a lot of flack for insomnia / sleep disturbance, but any / all androgens can do it. Some of those androgens (tren in particular) can also futz with fasting glucose. Some guys who wear CGM's have linked their nighttime wakings with hypoglycemia. In terms of GH, you'd expect hyperglycemia if anything, but it's possible that the GH can transiently cause an increase in blood glucose which the body then counteracts with insulin release, thus resulting in the hypo that wakes people up. What's curious to me is that the same folks who report this link between waking and going hypo don't wake up in the middle of the night craving orange juice / carbs. So i'm really not sure...

That being said, there are some people who 100% notice that changing their GH from PM to AM fixes their sleep complaints. The most important thing is to just do what works best for you, and stick to one shot per day to prevent accrual of insulin resistance. If it's the CTS that's waking you up, that should subside in due time. Mine took several weeks to go away even on a doc prescribed HRT dosage of GH (1.8 iu). Once I started my own dosing up to 4 and then 5 iu the CTS only came back very briefly when making the dose changes.

I have not seen too many guys who run high dosages of GH (say 6 - 10 iu) taking it in the AM. I'm sure they exist, but it seems that 4 iu or less in the AM is workable but 6+ might be too sedating for most users, and so they stick to injections at bedtime. I listen to a lot of pods and interviews of pro's / competitors / coaches and the vast majority are taking their GH in single bolus pre-bed. One exception, Evan Centopanni recently said when he competed he took his GH in the morning.
 
Im new to GH, adding it next week.. 4iu/day, been reading about different protocols and i think im going to start with pre-bed injections and if i can't sleep i'll switch to early mornings.. Thoughts? Can i start with 4iu straight away?

Also starting berberine with it + some other ancillaries..

I would start at 2iu, see how your body does with it and slowly titrate it up over the next month or so. I stayed at 2iu for the first 3 months, then up to 3iu, now at the 6 month mark I'm on 4iu.

Pre-bed is how I started and have stayed. Great results this way. Each person is different though as this thread has shown. Experimentation is the only way to find out my guy!
