HGH 40 +

45yo. I'm taking 4iu HGH per day (split AM/PM) and my recovery time has been amazing. I haven't gotten any DOMS or soreness despite raising the weights. Been on HGH and test for about 4 months now.

45m, 160mg trt (3yrs), 2.5mg Reta 2x/wk (3mths), 4iu nightly—Going on 3 weeks.. I’ve noticed my recovery is much faster. Maybe a day of being slightly sore after workouts, compared to 2 or 3. Sleep is amazing! It’s also helped with eating while being on Reta. Going back for bloods in a couple of weeks.

Yeah buttt

Has anyone had a scope to check for any polyps that have grown since begining gh??
Ive known people to quit gh all together due to getting a scope and then realizing that their polyps had grown…

The ultimate fear that kept me from starting hgh, along with unwanted detrimental growth

I had polyps that were bi-nine and removed 3 years prior to starting, I am going to have another colonoscopy in 2 years.

Anyone else proactive on this matter ?

Is there evidence linking exogenous hgh to colon cancer?

Small to moderate doses will not promote detrimental growth. Up to 4IU daily for guys 40+, 50+ is even beneficial for longevity, as their own GH production already declined significantly.

Yeah ive been on 2iu in the morning for 2 weeks now and i feel fine so i'll bump up to 2iu am & 2iu pm from monday i think

I am at 2 1/2 IU in the morning fasted, before I work out. But I continue to get the numbness in my left hand when I sleep it’s a big pain in the ass because it wakes me up most nights. Thoughts?

I experienced the same thing, it became quite painful.
I now split between morning and evening, after a month it has reduced by 80%

Thanks for your advice! It seems as though the only answer is to split the dose or drink a tremendous amount of electrolytes. Which would just keep me pissing all night. Lol.

What is the impact does Taurine?

Specifically for CTS it will help balance electrolytes which in turn can help reduce soft tissue swelling (the cause of the numbness pressing on the median nerve).

But overall, taurine is just an awesome supplement everyone should take (especially if on cycle). It's one of the few supps that IS NOT a waste of money. I take 10 grams over the course of a day while on cycle and 3-5 when cruising. Super cheap and safe too. You can't really OD on it, your body will just piss out what it doesn't use.

Core Benefits of Taurine

1. Pumps & Cramp Reduction (especially on tren/DHB)

Taurine helps regulate intracellular calcium and improve muscle cell hydration.
That translates to:
  • Less lower back pumps
  • Less calf/quad pumps
  • Reduced cramping
  • More sustainable high-volume training
2. Cardiovascular Health

Taurine has a surprisingly strong effect on:
  • Blood pressure (mild but measurable lowering)
  • Improving arterial function
  • Reducing oxidative stress

3. Insulin Sensitivity & Glucose Regulation

Taurine improves:
  • GLUT-4 translocation
  • Insulin sensitivity
  • Mitochondrial efficiency in muscle cells
4. Increases Cell Hydration (volumization)

Taurine acts similar to creatine in that it helps “pull” water into cells, improving:
  • Recovery
  • Pump
  • Muscle fullness
  • Resistance to fatigue

5. Nervous System & Stress Regulation

Taurine acts on GABA and glycine receptors — meaning:
  • Mild calming, anti-anxiety effect
  • Improved sleep quality
  • Reduced overstimulation from caffeine/yo/stims

6. Liver Protection

Taurine improves bile acid conjugation and protects hepatocytes.

7. Electrolyte Balance

Taurine helps balance:
  • Sodium
  • Potassium
  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
