HDL/LDL Cholesterol Advice

So I got my 2nd round of bloodwork. The first time, what kept me from cycling was my cholesterol numbers, mainly my HDL and LDL. Triglycerides were also a concern, but I wasn't too worried about that. Since then, I've been much more consistent about staying on my diet. Nowhere NEAR a perfect diet, but many times better than where I was before my first round of BW where I was eating fast food and junk food probably 2-3 times a week. I honestly can't remember the last time I had fast food now. And I had pizza one time within the last month or two. Other than that, I've stayed very consistent to a better diet than what I've ever had consistently.

I've also been taking a lot of fish oil, as well as red yeast rice and niacin for cholesterol. But for my 2nd round of BW, 3 months later, my numbers somehow came back slightly worse. My HDL is exactly the same as it was before. My LDL is just a little bit higher. At least my triglycerides went down quite a bit and my total cholesterol is down, but the HDL and LDL ratio are what I would consider unacceptable for cycling, especially since my HDL is considered in the low range.

Does anyone have any advice about improving those numbers? Because it seems like improving my diet and staying consistent with it has actually made matters worse somehow (although my gains are better than they've ever been). I'm not going to cycle if my shit is already jacked up.

Lol, it's the diet bro. Eat right and those numbers will get better over time. It's inevitable to have them perfect during cycle.

Your diet is not on point if those numbers don't recover after your cycle.

I mean probably but based on the numbers, it looks like fast food is what I need to eat in order to improve them, considering my LDL was lower when I was eating much worse food so that's why I'm so confused by everything.

Drink more water, Incorporate healthy fats into your diet, and stay away from sugar.

Do some more cardio and add A LOT more fibre to your diet.
