Has anyone added Sietan to their diet?

Does anyone eat Sietan (Vital wheat gluten)? I shuffle between eggs and tofu but I want to replace tofu with Sietan but haven't really put to much research into it. And would rather hear from someone that's incorporated this into their diet

I eat it all the time. I haven’t eaten any animal meat in 8 years.

Huh, it’s a wild yam with zero protein.
No thanks unless your a Keto nerd.

It's a calorie-free food that taste's amazing and is a very viscous fiber made from a fermented starch. Those 3 things make it suitable for any diet. Add Kimchi and chili garlic sauce and you've got a zero-calorie meal that will help with digestion, gut health, satiety, and a few other small benefits.

Love kimchi. I drink roughly 16oz of homemade kombucha everyday to keep my gut in tip-top shape.

Correct it is edible. It’s reminds me of rice noodles but not as good because they don’t hold up and fall apart. There are much better options out there. Still not sure what it has to do with seitan?

Kimchi, Saurkraut, Shirataki, and plenty of greens (asparagus, kale, spinach, enoki mushrooms) are pretty much added to all of my meals. I only choose 0 cal or very low-calorie greens but you can add a lot of these things to really make a normal sized meal into a very filling meal.

Fermented starches and fermented foods are seriously under-used. No calories, tonnes of flavor, and plenty of benefits. Sprouted grains are great as well depending.

Not me brother. I hate kombucha!
Whoever came up with using kimchi, sourkraut, apple cider vinegar to fight indegestion and heartburn should be shot in the face! It only make it so much worse!! Horrible!! I take some pretty pricey pro biotics and eat yogurt. It works much better then anything with vinegar.

I’m down with all the greens for sure!
Just not down with the fermentation.
It doesn’t agree with me.

That makes sense, fermented starches are usually high in viscous fiber which can affect the gut-flora something fierce - usually, it restores it and helps it, but like with anything there is an individual response.

I cook everything in apple cider vinegar and add fermented stuff to almost every meal. It works amazingly well for me, I think most people should give it a try and see. I also love the taste, but again, highly individual.

It's been extremely useful during my prep diet so far, fermented stuff is usually 0 cal depending on what it is, it's extremely satisfying, and vinegar allows me to cook everything without adding oil. Will I do the same techniques when it's time to grow again? Yes!

It takes time but everyone should find some dietary guidelines that work best for themselves, and sometimes making restrictions actually helps you due to the need for creative problem solving with food choices and preparation methods.

Good information I appreciate it brother.
I think it’s definitely a case by case scenario. I’ve only honestly tried the whole vinegar thing while I’m on blast.
To try and combat the severe indigestion I get from eating excessively everyday for 16 weeks. Then there’s the tren! I don’t think I’m giving it enough of a chance. It’s hard to find anything to battle these sides while being ON.

I take a shot of apple cider vinager everyday. I agree, it's pretty harsh but makes me feel better during the day
