Hair Thinning from HRT

I have been on HRT for the past few months. During this period the hair on the front of my head has started to thin. I have never had any signs of male pattern baldness up until this point. I currently take 5G Androgel per day. This has doubled my T levels, pushing them into the high normal range for my age (20-27).

Would you recommend testing my DHT (DHEA/S...) levels?
Would you suggest switching to an injectible (not as high DHT response)?
Would you suggest a DHT-blocker, like finasteride? And if so would finasteride be contraindicative with the HRT therapy?

If you are not genetically predisposed to MPB, TRT will not give it to you.

DHT must be followed with any transdermal TRT. And estrogen must be monitored with all TRT.

I am not in favor of 5-alpha-reductase inhibition.

I really do not see much value in testing DHEA levels.
