Gyno?

Hey fellas, I've been on test patch for a few months. In the last month or so I upped the dose to two patches. About two weeks ago I started feeling a weird pain in my chest tissue. I dont know if its gyno or what but I went and bought 6 oxo. I took 6 caps a day for 1 week and know im down to 3 caps ED. The pain has stopped. I guess what I need to know is will 6oxo even work once its started and if you guys think it is even gyno. Thanks

We would always recommend proper lab testing to see where your hormones are at, especially before trying ancillary medications.

Are you able to get labs done?

AAaaaarrrgghhhh!?! They complain that AAS will cause bad sides. Then they prescribe them and don't do anything to prevent them. Ignorance sucks. Print out Swale's stickies and give them to your Doc or get a new one.

Just to be clear, overall "estrogen" levels don't matter much. You want to test for a specific estrogen called estradiol (aka oestrogen, aka E2). Keep in mind that the standard estradiol test is insufficient for adequately measure for estradiol levels with the desired specificity. In the case of labcorp, http://www.labcorp.com/datasets/labcorp/html/chapter/mono/ri003600.htm and this is the estradiol test that you do want (estradiol, sensitive).

I asked my physician for the estradiol:sensitive test and he agreed, but what I got back was the standard estradiol test. I just started on hCG as per SWALE's excellent protocol and that very well may affect my estradiol levels anyway, so I didn't bother to go back to the physician on this little mishap. But when I go in next time, I'm going to bring out a printed copy of the estradiol test I do and don't want. LabCorp actually has somebody in the office that draws the blood and sets up the test; I will be certain to confirm with them that they do the correct test next time.

Your doctor appears to be uninformed about managing estradiol levels in men. That is unfortunate. Maybe your estradiol is fine and it is a moot point for you, but you really need that blood test in order to know. So.... good luck in getting the proper bloodwork done.
