Biggest issue for me is to eat I dont have a big appetite
im 5'10 174lbs been lifting for the 2 months and gained ~5lbs
I have A pretty hard job ( roofing) so My calorie intake needs to be even bigger for maintenance. any suggestion on what type of Whey I could use? ( btw im natty)

i would start by getting something like MyFitnessPal or a similar app download and set up.

Log everything you eat and drink. For me, it's made my calorie goals easier to accomplish. Almost like a challenge.

Smaller, more frequent meals are much easier to consume than 2-3 large meals, at least for me.

As for a protein supplement, i use Pure Protein. It's pretty cheap and tastes good.

I have a friend that has a very physical job. This fucker will buy a half gallon of choc milk everyday on the way to work and have it gone by lunch time. Hes a monster!

Choc milk sounds like a cheat but its nutritionally "full". It's got most everything we need to contribute to lean muscle gain. It's worth a shot...

Yep. Half gallon has 800+ calories. At least the one i usually get does. i believe it's made with 2% milk.

The milk trick can work.

Whey won’t help your apetite any.

My go to is now MRE from RedCon1. So much less digestional stress.

Bottom line is you need to eat more. Shakes should be a supplement, but gotta do what you gotta do.

My favorite go to bulking foods are chicken wings-deep fried, and pizza- Italian pizza parlor pizza not frozen. You can pack on some mass with pleanty of both. Took me from about 155 pounds up to about 205 in 3 years of lifting and eating, natty-when i was in my early 20’s. I never really had a big appetite ither, till I started with the wings and pizza. Now that im old as fuck”49”, I have to limit my intake of foods like that, it all goes straight to my gut lol.

Hey bro,, Im in the same boat you are. I personally find that drinking a very natural source weight gainer is very helpful,, like 2 or 3 servings a day. One of my favorites is Mammoth Weightgainer. For complex carb foods,, I find that eating soft complex carbs are the way to go for easy digestion. Brown rice with meat sauce is really good as well as sweet potato yam and butternut squash. And just like mistersupergod mentioned,, I really like to eat the 'pure protein' bars which are really cheap at Walmart!

Whatever you do understand it takes TIME to gain weight, while focusing on
improving LBM.

Set a reasonable goal such as the addition of TWO POUNDS monthly which can be achieved by a 500Kal daily increase above BMR.

Most important stay away from fried foods and esp “fast food” as this WILL increase TBF!

1 scoop low carb protein powder.
1 cup (250ml) Fairlife Whole Milk
1 cup Fairlife chocolate milk.
Shake to mix.
Then throw in 4 raw eggs.
Shake again and pound it back.
Repeat through the day until you hit your desired macros.
Enjoy the gains.

imma try to get some

Id suggest U take a look at the entire Optimum Nutrition product line.

Why ? Bc this company has been around for DECADES and conducts research (in-house or outsourced) on many of their products. In fact they have filed lawsuits against other manufacturers for plagiarizing their results.

While Ive no vested interest in O.N. I tend to believe their products are as good, or probably "better" than others on the market, which I may add is based upon, at least in part, scientific evidence.

And the latter is an important distinction bc scientific research is something most manufacturers ignore, notwithstanding the bare bones standards imposed by the FDA for any supplement.

Oh and @KetoMuscles while Fairlife is the best tasting milk Ive ever tried, the price at FOUR times that of most generic brands, is prohibitive for the majority, and will posit bc the nutritional content of Fairlife is essentially the SAME as generic milk the bang is not worth the EXTRA buck, esp when mixed with other ingredients.
