We 've all been there weren't we? When I started brewing and managed to successfully finish my 5th batch I though I was a full blown chemical engineer

It’s not about age or profession. It’s about the experience gained in all that years and all that batches, the one that failed, or crashed or never was good enough. I am not 17, and i am not on my first batch.

It's not about that someone knows everything and the rest of us are fool. It's about experience. I am learning also even i am 56 this year and i am doing this shit since i was 25.

So dont be rude. No one knows everything.

How come the aforementioned pharma grade preparations that include copious (Bayer Tesoviron Depot - 30%) to ludicrous (Bayer Nebido - 50%) amounts of bb have ZERO pip?

Standardized 0.9%. That's all that is needed for bacteriostatic usage. Higher concentrations up to 2% serves as a antibacterial in some cases

Can’t comment on Nebido, but Testoviron is one of the smoothest, PIP-free products to ever exist. I’ve never known anyone complain of PIP from it & back in the 2000’s they were extremely common & popular in the UK.

If I remember correctly, @jJjburton once made a mistake & used 100% BB in place of a carrier oil in a brew & it resulted in zero PIP - @jJjburton - can you confirm mate? Would be nice to see these “BB causes PIP” claims start to be put to pasture.

I always use gso. I stay away from eo, guac, and coconut oil. Idk about guac but Im pretty sure i have a bad reaction to eo and i know coconut oil i cant use either

It’s not hard to filter the oil with gso

So Thats the reason or maybe one of them. But let me explain.
Every compound has a melting point. The benzyl benzoate it will help only to disolve the main substance, not to melt it directly. You can stir it for days, as long it is not reaching the melting point, the active substance is in crystal form, small, but crystalized, and thats the first cause of PIP and lump.
Our bodies cannot absorb cristals, no matter how small they are.

A second cause of pip is when you use to much BB.

My Option is that you need a controled environment, and i mean a magnetic stirer with hot plate, and controled temperature, in order to avoid the burn.

For every chemical compound you will find the melting point. Use it to brew your suspension. If you dont know BA BB ratios, you can ask me.
