For tracking food macros I use Lose It. I’ve tried a bunch of others, including MacroFactor which was pretty decent, and RP Diet Coach which I didn’t like at all, plus a few more. Then I caught a lifetime subscription deal for Lose It and stuck with it. It’s simple, minimal, and does everything I need.
For training apps, I went through a lot of them before finding what worked best. It came down to Hevy and Strong, both are great, but I decided to stay with Hevy. Honestly, the best approach is to just download both, try them out for a couple of weeks, and then decide which one feels right for you.
