Do I look 8 weeks out?

If you posted front and back poses it would help to asses it better but you can get a lot done in 6-8 weeks if you go in hard.

Judging from the only Pic provided, you're in good shape for 8 weeks out. Ideally seeing all your mandatory poses would be best

Yeah I’m kind of stuck between 2 weight classes though, middleweight (176.25lbs) is too small but Light-Heavyweight (198lbs), well I’ll be losing more than 4 pounds, so I guess I’ll just show up weighing 185-190 and see where it lands me?

Don't focus on the weight, focus on nailing nasty conditioning, lean dry hard and full. Then go from there

You look great man! DO NOT let a class and the pressure of losing weight to make the top of a class fuck with your head! I dropped down into light heavyweights once and I was dieting so hard to make that class that I was using laxatives at the end to shit out the last couple lbs.

Long story short, I looked like an emaciated bag of shit for that contest!! I would have been much better off focusing solely on the mirror and not the scale and came in wherever I looked my best

Thanks bro I appreciate the kind words, I honestly didn’t think I looked so good. Here is a recent pic of my legs I just took, and a picture of earlier in the summer when I was 188.1lbs and got the idea that I needed to “add more muscle” because I didn’t think I had enough or something, and that’s what fucked me up.

So I’m kind of nervous just because I’ve been on tren for 16 weeks already and will have been on it much longer by time I make it into a show in October or November…so I honestly don’t know what to do. I’m starting to think I’ll just have to make the decision for myself, I’m grown it’s not like I can’t, just could use some guidance as I’m pretty new to all this.

Crazy vascularity! The chest looks fuller in the recent pic you first posted, if there was one knock I could have thrown from the pic you just posted was chest thickness. But it sort of comes with the territory when cutting up also, that chest sort of goes away a tad, arms and delts looking sick! Abs and obliques are coming in nicely, 8 weeks out you are fine, condition at this point could even pass for 5 weeks out if you ask me

Yep, you read my mind bro, my chest was looking like absolute trash, so I got it in my head that I had to add more mass to it, which led to the weight gain. So should I look to lose 10 pounds in 5 weeks? I have clenbuterol on hand if need be.

How much cardio you been doing lately?
My cardio is as follows:

2x 30 minute sessions LISS @ 120bpm heart rate

2x per week - HIIT sprints, 14 minutes: 20 seconds @ 100-105% intensity, 100 seconds slow walking (every 2 minutes)

At least 5000 steps per day but oftentimes it’s more like 8000-12000 plus the cardio of course

How about posting up pics hitting all the mandatory poses? No filters or cool lighting, just straight on check in pics

I will, I have been hitting my poses daily and practicing hard, I have my tripod set up and everything, but I’ve been having a hard time getting good lighting, so for example when I hit a rear lat spread my back area looks “dark” so I can’t see the definition. But now that you’ve asked I’ll be happy to figure it the fuck out and oblige haha

Go to Walmart and grab the $15 floor lamp that has the light ontop and the adjustable light on the side. Throw a couple light bulbs in and it'll work better than a $80 ring light!

Can't say. i don't pay much attention to the competition aspect of all this, but you get a thumbs up for looking freakin' great.
Thanks bro appreciate the kind words and to be honest I wasn’t either, was just having fun blasting gear doing whatever until my buddy was like “you should go compete”, wasn’t even on my radar until then. And I’m going into this just me myself and I, no coach, no nothing, which is probably not a good idea haha

That’s a good idea I’ll go grab it tonight! I’ve been using a yoga studio that has some lighting and a hardwood floor and mirrors everywhere, and just keep my tripod in the center. So it’s just called a “floor lamp”?

Mainstays 72" combo floor lamp. Just aim that side light right at you, set the tripod right under/infront of it about 8ft away from you
