Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

I bought the Inzer 10mm single prong and can't really complain for what I spent on it. And get you some flat soled shoes, like chucks or wrestling/boxing boots. Thats made a good improvement for me on squats.
Order this shit on amazon, if its the wrong size send it back.

I second the flat soled shoes. I actually wear DC skateboarding shoes for deadlift and squat, they're flat and pretty wide (I have wide feet) and feel much better than a running shoe.

Everything I have I ordered online. Only thing I ever buy locally is chalk. And FYI rock climbing chalk is the same thing and it's cheaper than buying "gym" chalk.

In that case I recommend that KLA belt. Lifting large has a fairly cheap lever belt if you wanna go that direction. I've never used it, but everything I've bought from them has been good. A slingshot you might not need just yet. Knee sleeves are a must for sure though.

I have Strong Knee Sleeves already. First two things after chalk is Elbow sleeves and better belt.

Right now for footwear I have Reebok Crossfits. Have had them for a couple years. Chucks will be my next pair.

I got mine for around $60 but it was over a year ago. that things not worth $100 let alone $400. Id look at the Pioneer if your willing to spend 120

The suede is just a cover, but typically found on the thicker belts. Suede is supposed to be softer but Ive only used cheap leather belts so I dont have much comparison

Concerning grip, I’ve always been under the impression that it should be trained separately. Plate pinches, etc. my philosophy is that grip shouldn’t be a limiting factor in your workouts... if I can row 3 plates with straps, why stay at 225 just because of grip? It’s detrimental to training. That’s just my own opinion, though.

As for gear, I use inzer xt knee sleeves (they’re adjustable) I really like them. Also, inzer lever belt. Like @Worf said though, $400 is absurd. I ordered mine straight from inzer a few years ago for like $100. Wrist wraps, obviously.

As for your upper back, most likely DLs. My traps and rear delts are always tight and sore the day after a good DL session. I could be wrong, but I don’t believe OHP would really have an effect on that—at least it never has with me.

That's been thoughts on BB routines but thinking differently a little now. I definitely now will be training it separately and less straps going forward

I love 5/3/1 but unless you add in the Joker sets or do BBB or some other variation, I feel like it's too light on volume.
Looking at the program and my template. I actually think it I unknowingly templated it with Joker sets lol.

Example my deadlift day past Wed
531 would be 3x3 working sets. I actually have a 4th set in my template that was called TM+ set at 100% of training max for Amrap. I wonder if this not somewhat of a joker set? If not it would be easy to turn into one.

In Beyond 531, the AMRAP set was added after your three working sets, so that's normal. Joker sets come AFTER the AMRAP set. So basically, if you're feeling strong after your AMRAP set, you'll add 5% and do say 5 reps. If you hit those 5 reps, you'll add 5% again and do 5 reps. If you hit those 5 reps you'll add another 5% and do 5 reps.

Ahhh ok makes sense thanks

Elbow is killing me, tried on Large Strong sleeves and they were too small have an XL pair coming. Did pick up some chalk.
They have a Strong leather 10mm belt, nice belt they want 200 for it.

I've never been unhappy with any of Mark Bell's products that I've used. I'd say it's a good belt. Too expensive in my opinion though. For that price you could buy a cheaper 4" squat belt, 3" deadlift belt, and a 2-2.5" bench belt.

Just not alot of selection where I live. Short of ordering online. Dont have a CC sonwould have to pick up a prepaid one. I do like your thought on 3 belts. I haven't benched in a belt but have seen guys do it.
