‘Mother of all deals’: How India-EU trade deal creates $27 trillion market
Major agreement reached after 20 years of negotiations and during ongoing tensions with the US.www.aljazeera.com
india & eu signs free trade deal. it will set in place next year idk? free trade in 90% will be tariff free of stuff arriving to eu including chemicals.
im pretty sure we can start recieving indian meds in eu.
"The EU will eliminate tariffs on ~90-93% of Indian goods (immediately for most, phased for others), including chemicals (up to 12.8% previously) going to zero."
For a regular person, prescription requirements won't magically disappear, and I don't expect the rules for private imports to change much, if at all. Customs, medical regulations, and prescription controls are a separate layer from tariffs.
Or maybe I got it wrong and what you actually mean is that it will mainly make things easier and cheaper for vendors. So they can source more stuff, expand their range, and lower prices
Man I miss Turkey. Being able to walk into a pharmacy and buy almost anything while on vacation feels unreal compared to the EU.
