Bulking

Personally, I go with 1.5-2 g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Maybe 2-2.5g /lb bodyweight if I were using gear. I'm about 230-240 and I just can't see a reason to eat more than 400g of protein a day. Carbs are the best fuel for your body, so I try to eat alot of them, just not shitty carbs. My bulking diets are based on total calories in, with about 60% of cals coming from carbs. The protein is usually about 15% of total cals, but atleast 1g per pound of bodyweight. Fat just makes up the remaining percent.

The ratio doesnt really matter much at all. Get in about 1.5g/lb for protein, about 20% calories from fat and the rest you can delegate to carbs, more protein and/or a higher fat intake.
