Bulking on keto experiences

Is it because the protein will be converted into sugers which in turn will result in no ketosis?
How do you respond to this sort of diet since you mentioned you've done it for a while now?
I can share some info by DM if interested. Little appetite to post pics out in open anymore.

how the fuck have you been lean & training on "modified keto" for years and have shit insulin sensitivity ?
One could still have insulin dysfunctional fat cells from prior obesity, childhood obesity. Cant get rid of them without physical removal.

Region dependent on the body.

Go back and read Lyle McDonald or Duchaine. They made great points you can keep your fat cell size in check with keto. But eating carbs (while bulking) can be a PITA for some. Hence a bulking diet without carbs. Is is ideal? F no. But you do what you gotta do.

Does it work? Ehh. You gotta figure it out for you.

Via lypo?
The remote risk with this turns me off.

We are talking about this for someone who has their last 8% of BF around their lower back or specific area.

Beware: paradoxical adipose hyperplasia

I think actual keto which is more of a high fat, moderate protein, low carb diet is pretty rare in bodybuilding. I don't think I can name a single bodybuilder that truly used a keto diet.

Most 70's bodybuilders followed a low carb diet that was more like lowish carbs, high protein and moderate fats. And then later that morphed into a gluconeogenic diet which was super high protein, low-moderate fats and low carb.

Now high carb, high protein, low fat pretty much rules the roost. If your genetics, training and drugs are on point I think we've pretty much proven you can get huge eating nearly anything.

the other....

Bulking while making your body work hard to make the carbs instead of eating them.

I have done keto recomposition for a while. It does work, especially when you are overweight, but compared to regular it's not the same. I think keto diet is excellent for other health reasons but bodybuilding isn't one.

Weight training is anaerobic in general and glucose or maltodextrin are the most ideal source of immediate fuel to turn into pyruvates and produce ATP. Then during recovery phase, glucose directly and indirectly induces kinase, mTOR, and insulin for muscle synthesis. Fatty acids from lipolysis just don't do at the same extent.
