Branch warren inclining 315

You.dont.work.on.strength skullo_O
If you did I'd bet my hairless head you'd be stronger
This is very true Truck. I love my low weight high rep ranges. For me it has always been what has forced the most growth which is exactly what I want. Ill never be a 500lb bench press kinda guy lol, so im jus workin with what I was givin. Only thing that really matters to me is how much better iam today compared to last year an the year before an so on;)

I don't necessarily like his form but a few monsters at my gym use to swear that by never completely locking out helped the chest keep tension on it causing a better ripping affect on the muscle. They would alternate monthly/weekly between perfect reps and the ones you see branch doing here. Idk if they were right but they looked like they could be on to something lol.
Ive heard this before. I have also heard while never locking all the way out, to never completely touching your chest or bouncing it off since that creates momentum. Keeping constant tension on the muscle at all times throughout your workout I believe causes the most growth. Jus like Time Under Tension. When you lock out or bounce weights your not utilizing the tut method. Your infact releasing the tension when your bouncing them, locking out at the top or resting at the bottem. It just makes sense to me.

Dorian is just a man's man. Takes care of his business. Took the hard way instead of being housed and fed by homosexuals to make his BB journey easier. The man is the terminator
IMO the best there ever was. I know everyone says Arnold... I say Dorian is #1, Arnold #2.... Lee Priest and Tom Platz fall somewhere at the top for me, too.

Low weight high rep work is neglecting the biggest, densest, most dominant muscle fibers in an athletes body, fast twitch fibers. Without them being stimulated often and challenged regularly you are leaving the biggest share of muscle gains on the table.

I do this, about 50% of the time I don't lock out.... It does create constant tension, try holding it for 2 seconds at the top of a 3/4 lockout... YOU'LL FEEL THAT SHIT!

Arnold is the best ever because he had no knowledge available to him. He MADE the knowledge. Alot of his work was all instinct. Everyone after benefited from Arnolds trail blazing

I see where you're coming from there, and there's a lot of merit to that. However, we both know Dorian pioneered A TON of shit, too. He really showed everyone how to step on stage as a mass monster, that was carved of granite... Arnold, however, had way more in the way of showmanship and personality for the bodybuilding/celebrity world.

Quite an outstanding difference...

Arnold had nothing but AAS...and no AI's, no insulin, no gh no synthol. Bare bones stuff. He didn't have knowledge on training. Reg Park was his idol and he was a pioneer too. Think about it...we can log on to youtube, meso order books off amazon about every nuance of training, diet, drug regimen and experience.

Arnold literally had none of that

I totally get where you're coming from. I have a ton of respect for arnold. I'd definitely say him and Dorian are top 2, but Dorian, for me, just edges out arnold.... I'm not sure WHY. Maybe the look is more desirable to me? Maybe the just brutal savagery he trained with...? Not sure.

I still fear for modern day bodybuilding had arnold been born 30 yrs later than he did.
Lights out

Agreed. I think today's top competitors would be crushed by Arnold, Dorian, Coleman etc. if they had the drugs and knowledge of today's athletes... Phil Heath has NOTHING on any of those names.

@gr8whitetrukker that new chick I'm dating that you and I were talking about said she thought Dorian Yates has a better look than Frank Zane.... So now old WP needs to grow... Haha.
Frank Zane never did nothin for me man
Hard gainers bodybuilder
Not my cup of tea
Now that girl puss, she has a good taste. I appreciate she noticing that Zane was a runt

Yeah we were chatting about it, she said bigger the better. Fuck, well, back to putting on size it is! LOL. Worst part about dating a chick who lifts, she eats about 3x the amount I'm used to seeing girls eat... Homegirl demolished a giant filet, lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus the other day at dinner... I was just like o_O

Your over 6' man. You are a TALL bodybuilder. Use it to your advantage. Eat my man. You'll tower over 95% of BB anywhere. That is an advantage

Actually I do prefer not to lock out but I don't bounce off my chest like Warren did in the video. It's a bitch but I've noticed more strength this way! I feel like you may get the better look/cut by locking out and squeezing at the top! Hard to say for certain though.

True. But you and I both know it's SOOO much harder to pack on that serious mass the taller you are. But, it looks so much more impressive when you do.

Skull, you know youre my homie, but thats a cop out. Ive seen we're youve come from. If you put your mind to it and started training you could lift whatever you want. That includes a 500lb bench. Just gotta put in the work bro.

Thats not what youre looking for, but dont say YOU cant do it, because I know you can.
