So for the past couple weeks I’ve been dealing with “shitty” issues. Pun intended. Anyways. I’m trying to put on a little weight so I’m eating slightly more. Now the issue started when I was finalizing a cut. I think I was eating waaaaay too much fiber and it was messing things up. I’m not backed up. I just take about a half dozen shits in the am hours. First in the morning is a normal one I guess. Then the rest are just moderate to smaller sized movements. I’m just wondering if there is something I can take that will help me just take two decent shits a day.
 
are you currently eating more? When I’m in the offseason hammering food 6 shits a day is normal for me. So long as your movements are healthy and regular I wouldn’t be too concerned unless there’s another cause for concern.

Like Mac said- food in is food out and if you are bulking those are the ropes. Better to take 6 shits a day than have 10k calories back up in your colon a few days in a row.

I’m eating less than when I did my first test only cycle. Then I was pounding down like 4500 calories a day and taking 3 good sized dumps. Like the kind of dump you’re hungry after. Now I’m eating around 3500 and the mornings my stomach is slightly cramped. The movements all seem to be normal. If I eat like normal people and have 3500 in processed food and such. I take 1 dump. But it’s been years since I’ve ate like that.
 
I wish I could shit 6 times a day.. I habe been getting so backed up ots fuxking horrible.. I take 3 stoll softeners every day and I still am lucky to shit 1 time a day.. some times I go 2 days ..today I was so constipated it took me 45 mins and I was in so much pain.. I'm hoping it's from protein..not enough fiber and not enough hydration.. changing a few things up and hoping for a change very soon.. j

I went to the dr during my first bulk cycle because I was backed up. I was eating over 3 cups of oats and 3 cups of rice a day. He gave me some liquid stuff. Well it was more like a runny gel. But. Yeah. After 24 hours kabloooey

My issue is it gets like hard and compacted and.doesnt wanna budge..and it's just way bigger then fucking nessacary.. if I took something like that I would be scared it would force it out to fast and fucking blow out.my asshole.. I'm wiping blood because it's so hard or.dry it's like scratching my ass.. not trying to be overly graphic.. this has started about 2 weeks ago and I thought it was getting better

I remember when I was 15 I got constipated. Shit was no joke. Lol. Horrible cramps you couldn't do anything about.

Anyways. I've had similar issues in the past. Doc just told me I have IBS. If you're anything like me, I would recommend trying to go a week of being more meticulous with your eating. Make sure when you eat something you aren't having your stomach feel weird or don't eat that thing again. I used to actually keep a food journal for a bit until I just remembered everything. Also, make sure you're eating adequate fiber (preferably from vegetables.) and consider taking a daily probiotic and digestive enzymes. Obviously also make sure you're properly hydrated all day everyday. Not really any excuse not to be.

That's more of the long term fix. For now if you want to save a doctor visit. Slam a bottle of magnesium nitrate and run to the toilet as fast as you can. You will poop more than you ever thought possible. Haha

I definitely am falling a little short on fiber.. not by.alot but I'm thinking I'm gonna try eating an extra 10-20 grams a day.. so 80 to 100grams total a day.. or.add a fiber supplement if food is to much..

I always poop way more when bulking. The first time I bulked I was amazed by how much i was pooping. Usually I take 2-3 medium to large size shits. The multiple tiny poops is always frustrating. Are you getting enough fiber? Upping fiber could help. Add a spoonful of pumpkin puree to your oatmeal, or if you don't eat oats, start eating oats, or add some beans to your diet (take some beano to avoid farts).

Instead of stool softeners you could try some senna tea ("Smooth Move" tea). I drink 1 cup per night on cycle and it helps me take a nice big poop in the morning then move on with my day. You gotta be careful with it though. Personally, I love the stuff. It works like magic to prevent stomach bloat.

I eat 3 packs of oatmeal every morning and add 1 cup to my shake a day.. I gonna add some Metamucil and add more water .. if no progress then add something else lol.. I shit fine yesterday.. today was fucking problem.. 40 mins of.pushing and then like my Colin took over and had like a muscle spasm and pushed really hard.and I couldn't stop it.. fucki g hurt but it got it done!!!.. when I say it's hell..it's fucking he'll man

That many shits that frequently or being backed up can be a sign of impending GI issues. Pooping that frequently in such small amounts can be the beginning of "Leaky Gut" due to eating something you may not be digesting well. Were the movements solid? Or loose?

As bodybuilders most of us consistently bang food without ever figuring out what food intolerances or allergies we have..which leads to non optimal digestion..which leads to not getting all the results you work for.

The thing I’m starting to cut out is sugar alcohol and excessive fiber. I started going nuts on crystal light. Basically in all my water I had it in there. 1.5 gallons a day. Plus I didn’t realize how fiber heavy these tortillas I got because they had 50 calories in them. I was eating like 6 of them a day plus taking fiber supps for heart health since I’m on gear. The movements are usually solid enough if that makes sense. Like warm soft serve lol. Sometimes it’s like popcorn chicken if that makes sense. Gross as that sounds lmao. But yeah. Cutting back completely and seeing what the old butthole has in store.
