Best bioavailable Berberine?

Should one take Telmisartan, even if I don't have high blood pressure? Doesn't it also help reduce hematocrit?
"Telmisartan prevented unfavorable cardiac remodeling through a reduction of cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis."
- Telmisartan, a unique ARB, improves left ventricular remodeling of infarcted heart by activating PPAR gamma - PubMed

Basically every PED user should use an ARB like Telmisartan.

Especially while blasting.

Probably don't use it if it drops ur blood pressure too low and makes u feel like fainting.

Ask your physician.

As @Mac11wildcat already alluded to, Telmisartan and Metformin have such a low risk to reward ratio even without the inclusion of AAS, so it's safe to say it could almost be considered "necessary" while on. I've been taking Telmisartan just being on TRT and naturally being predisposed to HBP and saw my BP drop from ~130/80 to ~120/70 just on 40mg p/d. I'll probably be adding in Metformin in the near future with a prescription from my doctor since she already has no issue prescribing me Telmisartan. Also from a cost perspective, with my insurance, I believe I get a 90 day supply for $30.00 USD.

On another thread it was mentioned to get a bioavailable brand of Berberine, and that was the end of the discussion. I don’t see brands mentioned on other related threads so I thought I’d ask and maybe someone else would like to know also

Thanks for any leads or recommendations

Any updates on best sources of Berberine? Glycomax doesn’t seem to be available in the US

For me was gastro for 1-2 weeks then nothing. Met and telm are pretty damn light on the risk:reward ratio.
It gave me the worst smelling gas ever!..... couldnt live with myself (hcl). I also have the same reaction to broccoli and cauliflower so i'm jyst intolerant to the cruciferous flavins.

I would be interested how effective berberine has actually been for people, esp if can compare to metformin use.. Sounds good but haven't actually seen anyone try it and say it dropped a1c or BG by x amount.

wonder if the gas is from lack of absorption of simple sugars and causing a change in gut flora because of more sugars starches left in the gut.

*puts on hipster gear. talks about homemade FUEGO kombucha and kimchi* lol
seems like it!
'eat shit (capsules) and live longer" is what they say now...

learning more about BPC(found in intestines/guts), and its method of action is more antidepressant like than anything, will be interesting if it and related compounds will be found to be part of the healthy gut healthy mind/immune system thing. 1 theory is certain flora produce serotonin and help mood, however I feel like more serotonin isn't really the answer, infant recent studies show majority of depression isn't even caused by low serotonin (although yes increasing it via AB help change mood and can cover it up, like caffeine covering up not having enough sleep)

I personally use the Revive Glucose supplement. Dont know if it's the cheapest available, but it works and keeps me where I need to be. BG was almost 100, and with the addition of that supp it dropped to mid 80s.

Evomuse just released Slintensity. This is one insert from the write up.

Berberine sounds amazing! Why not just load up? Well, grasshopper, berberine has some drawbacks. For one, it has absolutely dismal oral absorption. And if you try to make up for that by taking more, well make sure you stay close to a bathroom. Intestinal irritation comes with high doses. Instead what I have done is dialed in a Berberine Cocrystal. Recall that cocrystals can be formed by dissolving 2 or more compounds in a commonly effective solvent, applying some initial heat, and then allowing the solvent to evaporate. As the fluid volume decreases, our compounds are forced together where physics does its thing – and they form a crystalline lattice, which changes the physical properties such as solubility and absorption. In this case, the crystals are beautiful and very effective.

if change physical properties may not work as good ;) or have these cocrystals actually bean studied for effectiveness?or just in theory? may very well be superior. MAY not be as easy as heating and evaporating solvent.

if berberine is more lipophilic why not just use other solvents/lycethin/lipids to help absorption?... have to be careful there isn't just a gold rush to pump out studies that allow a way to patent a "better" version of a biologic based compound. ESP if someone ended up getting a patent on a "cocrystal" of something else. I don't know, just makes more sense folks would all of a sudden be pushing out studies if could actually make money/get investment because is patentable. And cant patent lecithin MCT berberine caps.

pretty neat at any rate..

I believe its menthol crystals and lidocaine crystals can react and form a liquid at room temp, kinda neat.
