Anyone suffer from hemorrhoids?

Sucks because I've been dealing with them for over a decade now. I think I first got them because I used to suffer from binge eating disorder, so I'd eat 8000 calories worth of junk food with little fiber and I developed them as a result.

Since then I've had numerous rubber band ligations, then finally in 2019 I had a stapling hemorrhoidoplexy which took care of them for a year but then they returned, fml

I even eat a high fiber diet and no longer binge eat. I noticed that when I'm on cycle, they definitely get worse.

Anyone else suffer from them?

I used to. The only thing that got rid of them was cutting weight and staying at a lower bodyweight. I used to bulk to 275 but now I sit between 220 and 235, no more issues. I also don’t do super heady deadlifts off the floor anymore. I noticed Doing those seemed to always give me issues even if I was leaner

They started bothering me early in life, likely from more diet and little exercise. Worked around them the best i could till the blood running down my leg after heavy squats would require a trip to the bathroom to get things ready for the next set.
Did the banding thing and had surgury 35 years ago. Within 3 weeks it was obvious the surgeon didn't solve the whole problem.
These days it is mostly just prolapsed tissue that i deal with.

I only had them last year while recovering from a hip fracture. The combination of lack of mobility and pain med induced constipation --- Man, anyone who suffers with them long term I have a new found empathy for.

they might seem inconvenient but i’ve come to see the benefits. When (ab)using compounds losing some blood time to time reduces the thickness of blood. Periodic toilet blood donation.

Been struggling with those for a while myself; I take Daflon at 500mg/x2 a day when they're not acting up and a blast dosage when they are. Also, whenever they do flare up I immediately start using Movicol (stool softener) to prevent them from getting worse.

Make sure to properly clean the area shortly after your workout too, the salt seems to irritate it pretty quickly. Most importantly, learn how to poop right.

You're NOT supposed to be doing ANY kind of pushing AT ALL. Be patient and let things slide down.

I do, mine are external and pretty bad. I have developed them during the last 10 years as result of taking tramadol for pudendal neuralgia, which itself tightens the sphincter pretty bad, and the tramadol harden the stool.

I am having them removed at some point next year. Just had the pre-op visit this Monday. All the best to you.
