How did you do?
53 y/o (bench only--since 39) intermediate+ level equipped lifter. Had right one done 2019, 1 week post op from left one presently. Done pretty good with them in general. Ortho surgeon is good and uses "anterior" approach. I follow their post op instructions ( P.T /exercises/med.) and transition into overload gradually. Overload strictly consists of sled dragging with very slow progression starting around 6 weeks post op. Just light ROM/leg extensions/standing leg curls... your "standard" P.T . at present. I wont squat or deadlift powerlifting style anymore and mostly just do GPP for lower extremities anyway. Just wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this journey and have any suggestions in any areas of the recovery process? I think I have viewed most videos on you tube etc. from strongmen to curler (lol). Obviously, I seek knowledge mostly from a powerlifting perspective but all experiences/suggestions are appreciated
