He’s a successful entrepreneur whos worth over $100mil and in the last year he got jacked. Found an article on how he gained 35 lbs in 6 weeks. Thoughts?

Good for him if its true and not a publicity stunt .

Fake Nattism is becoming trendy these days.
Two trends I notice having seen the stuff my teenage sons show me online, fake natties and expecting steroids to do all the work. We have a good laugh. At least they’re too smart to fall for it. 5 days of football practice and 4 days in the gym, they know it takes hard work.

These articles and TikToks aren’t doing anyone a favor.

Very doubtful, I think it's a fake.

I mean if u read the article alot of work was put in on the eating and training side

Sure, but 35 lbs lean mass in 6 months is just hard to believe, even with top 0.1% genetics, hard work, and the best gear science has to offer. And he did it natty?
6 weeks is the claim. I can see someone with muscle memory that's detrained (supplement companies pay a lot of money for these people to use their pre & post progress pictures in marketing materials) potentially adding 1.45 lb (0.66 kg) LBM week over week x 6 mo naturally (note that water is LBM & creatine retains it). I cannot - and nobody should - fathom adding just shy of 6 lb (2.65 kg) LBM week over week without hormones.

Big Ramy took 5 YEARS to gain 60lbs, and he is a genetic freak. This means, with his genetics and gear, he gained a bit over 1lb of muscle per week. There is no fucking way this kid gained 36lbs of muscle in 6 weeks lol. End of story. Could someone gain 30lbs of water weight and fat in six weeks eating like a horse. Sure. But this kid looks like he also gained tissue and didn't turn into a fat whale.

Yes, everything that I have at the level of emotions, you described with facts and figures.

We're just not as genetically gifted as he is. We're just jealous ;).

Toxic. I hate lying about it. My son Im pretty sure feels self conscious because of me because he doesnt know what i do. Its the same for everyone else. Just a way to sell supplements or a brand. It really shits on all the people who think there effort in the gym will equate to this type of progress. It really just sets people up for failure. They get a inferiority complex in the gym and this drives poor health and diet decisions. They think I will never be like this guy so Im just gonna do whatever I want. Or they will quit being fit or healthy altogether. This dood is using all the gears haha. He does have a good video about diet and energy balance though. I think the whole fitness industry passively gatekeeps people which really just ends being that health and fitness are exclusive from the rest of population.
I used to work out in my father in laws basement and he had a few pics of professional bb like jay cutler and I remember thinking: i will never have that because i will never be that dedicated to being in the gym lol. Which is true in some ways but its almost like a straw man argument. You say i eat a unfathomable amount of calories and dedicate a unfathomable amount of time in the gym and thats it!! Like most people will never spend 3hrs a day in the gym to even know that doesnt fucking work!!
