So, I did a little bit of research last night and came up with these good carbs to take instead of whole grains to see if it helps my current situation with my diverticulitis.
Bananas,Broccoli(Already eat), Apples(Already Eat), Pears, Leafy Greens, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Figs, Berries, and Squash. With that being said, should I switch out my rice for a sweet potato for my carbs as a more healthy carb? They seem to be low in the Glycemic index and supress the craving for sugars which leads to weight loss. My main question is, should I be incorporating all of these foods in my daily diet somehow to meet my required daily carbs due to cutting out my rice? Once again, I thank you all for your advice and support, you guys have been great.
