I can't explain open, especially why the ifbb would want someone so arrogant to hold the title. But the political pull for Cormier vs a young kid from Canada is basically what classic comes down to. No disrespect for Breon but I feel if Arnold was calling the top 5....he'd put Chris for the win

Glad to finally see someone other than heath win. Not a huge fan of Rhoden though, but for a guy who was in intensive care earlier this year really says alt about him. Roelly looked his best this year.

This was the best thing to happen to the Olympia and the sport of bodybuilding in a LONG, LONG TIME!!!

I really enjoyed the post win speeches where Shawn emphasized the value of his team and how he wouldn't be there without them. I like how he put his medal around his daughters head on stage. Also, do you know how many ppl are going to look at this guy and say to themselves that they can do something and they're not too old. I think he's 43 years old or something.

This dude killed to get in that condition. You could tell he was absolutely drained and he sacrificed damn near everything he had. This is what bodybuilding needs right now!!! 5'10, 250 lbs, big but not overly huge and straight up shredded without a bunch of bloat on his waist

We are about to see a shift in the way these pros look, I would almost put money on it that a new trend is coming to the stage where shape and conditioning take precedence over just size and bubble guts. Shawn is the new standard, you'll see guys coming in tighter and classic physique competitors sizing up to compete in open

I looked through the comparisons trying to find one with him and bumstead, but different call outs...

He has really unique shape, I don't usually like keeping up with the classic guys except him just because he's so different from the others
