2 year goals?

What’s your guys goals for the next 24 months? I never really thought about serious long term goals in the gym—they’ve always been “lose weight, hit xx number within 3 months” — but after listening to JM Blakely, I started to really consider what my long term goals are and what I want to pursue... I feel it gives a better overall picture and makes short term goals even that much better, because you feel you’re etching away at something bigger.

My 2 year goals:

-405 bench, 600 squat for reps (I feel I could squat 600 in 6 months if I trained it), pull 700, 300 OHP

-as far as body comp, etc. I want to be 15-20% BF, I don’t care about looking shredded—I just wanna be big and strong.

-Compete in my first PL meet.

I want to compete for fun at a meet next year while still being competitive.

Looking for a 450ish squat.. dont Thi k I'll ever go much higher as I need a knee replacement

I want a 600lb Dead.

400 Bench

I dont think I'll ever be able to compete in an advanced place..
But I'm really enjoying the sport and the feeling I get from a vein popping PR

Hell yeah, man. Competing isn’t all about the podium—it’s the atmosphere and the grind to get there.

I've been to one meet,
Supporting a friend of mine
The atmosphere was amazing
going to that meet contributed heavily to me enjoying powerlifting.

Your in a room with high intensity and the strongest motherfuckers around,
But everyone is super nice and supportive or their competitors.
Everyone went INSANE when some old guy got on the stage and did 225 Deadlift.
Amazing energy

I was fucking HOOKED

Next 24 months for me

Life
Keep working and stay healthy

Gym
Get weight down to 200
BF around 14%
Bench 315 I think a few months for this
Squat 500 probably a year for this
Deadlift 600 this is probably close to the 2 year mark.

I mean generally as long as I continue to progress and stay healthy and injury free I am happy, getting stronger the fun part.

Im older. So, yeah, not die or get ed. I can't bench heavy until I get rc repair, which I may never do. Id like to be able to pendlay row 405 for reps? I've seen a couple of fatasses on YouTube do shitty reps. I think I could do that in less than 6 mos. Id like to get my dead back up over 600 too.

Not sure if I'll still be a powerlifter in a couple years. But then again that's what I said a couple years ago after fucking up my back and shoulders in the same week. Lol.

So if I'm still going at it I guess I would like to hope I would've finally squatted 600+, bench 400+, and deadlift 700+. If not then I've been slacking pretty hard. Lol. Or I snapped my shit up trying to do a YOLO gym lift.

Current weight is about 195lbs and best lifts were: squat 475/bench 360/deads 505.

I am currently gunning for a 1500lb total under 200lbs bodyweight. Ultimately I would like a 405 bench and a 600 squat and dead.
