2 AM cravings

whats up guys I’ve been having this weird issue where I go to bed at 11-1130 and next thing I know these last 2 weeks like clock work I just wake up at around 2-3 AM dying for food , was wondering if anyone else ever has this issue and if there’s any tips to get rid of this shit issue, makes it real hard to stay in a deficit when your body forces you awake begging for food . Thanks !
 
What time is your last meal? Maybe push it an hour or two later and see if that helps. I wake up at around that time during the week for work, usually wake up on the weekends hungry at the same time, but just go back to sleep.
 
Sounds like you’re actively in a deficit? The unfortunate answer is probably going to be “suck it up” because hunger is part of dieting. However, timing water intake and food intake can help.

Last meal is around 5-530 pm, just trying to find the will power to not get up and rape the fridge at 2 AM

Yes sir I’m a deficit , maybe I should try chugging a bunch of water before bed ?
 
I almost wonder if this has something to do with the natural growth hormone spike you get at night, even if you aren’t doing GH or MK ? I believe this spike happens about 2 to 3 hours after you fall asleep, and lasts about an hour or so. Part of your body’s natural rejuvenation process. Im just speculating here, not trying to prove a point.

Try eating something before bed or at least a protein shake. EQ had me getting up around that time very hungry, so I end up eating some cereal before bed.
 
I get them too. No matter what time i eat before bed i get hungry at 2 am also. Then actually again at 4 am. Its not a normal hunger either. My stomach is growling with hunger. So just eat protein and go back to bed. That way you dont gain a ton of weight and it helps you recvoer.

No, you'll be up all night peeing. I'd go with intermittent fasting. Eating once per 24 hour period, and doing so in the evening. This way you're still full and able to sleep. My biggest challenge when dieting is sleeping soundly, like you. If you can manage through the day with lots of water and caffiene than you're like me and that's how you should diet.
