!1st cycle please critique

OK, so I'm aborting my cycle until I see a haemo. Had precautionary tests done which came back positive for Factor V (hetero), Factor VIII of 170, ESR 14(ref 1-10). @hurricane - I know you were tested positive for this. Could you share your test results and any insight?

I'm sorry to hear that but it's actually a good thing you found out. Factor V Leiden is a inherited Gene mutation which can cause a individual to develop a dvt. But most individuals will never form a clot which means you won't need to be put on meds unless you have one. Since I've had a pulmonary embolism(not fun), I take the blood thinner xarelto. Also Xarelto is used for my atrial flutter and a fib.
I'm assuming they did a activated protein C resistance test that you came back positive with. Your hematologist will run so much blood work you'll think your going to need a transfusion. I was also sent for genetic testing as well. Try not to worry to much. Now that your aware of your condition you can be pro active about it. Any type of surgery you now need to be very aware of clots forming. If going on long car trips stop every couple hours and walk a little. Same with plane flights. I don't know your profession but if you work in a office setting avoid sitting all day. I'm not saying this will guarantee you never have a dvt. But it will help. If you suspect a DVT it is painful as fuk!! Usually right behind your knee(not always), and you may feel a bump. If so get to a ER ASAP! Your hematologist will be your best source for info through all of this. They will decide what course of action to take(if any), moving forward. I hope this helped a little and good luck with the hematologist. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever want to talk. Best of luck.

Thanks for your response and detailed experience. I'm currently digesting it all, and I'd very much like to hear what you've been through to help me understand- if PM is the best place for that, it suits me.

It sounds like a pretty shit version of fun to me, but suffice to say even though I feel I've found the right community here, for me, my days are supraphysiologically high T are over for now. I've many questions and few answers it seems.

Smart decision to stay away from gear for now. Whatever you need to talk about you can either lost it or pm me. I'm always around to help. Your going to be just fine man.

Hey, appreciate your offer. I've got a few questions going through my mind: What have you been through related to this disorder? I'd be interested to read your story and how you coped. When did it happen? Under what circumstances/performance enhancers?

I've stopped T, but my free T is well over 1 k so I'm still a little unsettled. What does recovery look like? I know that getting back to the gym off AAS will probably be a big mental and physical battle, but it's better than the alternative. I'm pretty annoyed to be in the 4%.

I guess the biggest question in my mind is, is there hope for the future? Any blockers for e2/AAS related thrombophilia? Will we ever be able to get on trt, or will it be a lifetime of reading nattyornot.com? Hope this isn't too much, I tried to send a PM but it told me the length was too spammy. Cheers

First off I can tell your a little freaked out. Relax! It's not a death sentence.
I was not on gear at the time I had my PE. I was abusing stimulants though. I came home from a deployment and my wife had friends and family over. Towards the end of the night I started to have trouble breathing. By 11pm I really couldn't breathe at all. I told my wife and best friend to call 911. I thought I was going to drop dead right then and there. Ended up staying in the hospital for a week and a CT scan confirmed the PE. Started blood thinners.
Like a dumbass within a year I was back on gear and stimulants. Then I started to pass out at the gym. Saw a cardiologist and was diagnosed with dialated cardiomyopathy. Basically a weakened heart that doesn't pump blood efficiently. Came off gear for over 6 years but continued to use stimulants throughout my military career. 3 years ago I have since done 3 more cycles. 2 of those with tren. Started to pass out again and saw a heart specialist called an Electrophysiologist. Was hospitalized for 10 days and was eventually diagnosed with atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, and inappropriate sinus tachycardia. I have now been off gear and stimulants for almost a year and a half. And for my wife and children I will stay off for good. A few months ago I suffered a stroke. Within the past few days I've gotten back in the gym. It's not that bad to be natural. It's a mental hurdle but you can get over it.
As far as hopping on trt I would never do it. My history of a PE would put me at to great a risk.
You'll have to ask your hematologist about trt. Just be honest with him. But ask yourself is using trt worth your life?? As of right now the only protection I know of is blood thinner medications. I don't know what the future holds in medical research on the subject of blood clotting disorders and AAS use. Best piece of advice is to calm down until you have an in depth conversation with your hematologist. Write down every single question you have for him. Just remember being natural isn't the end of the world. Not sure how much this helped. If you have more questions post them and I'll try to answer them the best I could. Hang in there man.

I greatly admire your ability to be frank with yourself and positive for your wife and children. I'll collect my thoughts and PM you later... thanks for being a legend. It's hard not to be confused it because I don't really feel it and there's a little self pity too, which is inconvenient.

To anyonewho is reading my first cycle thread- I feel like I've succeeded and not failed, I've decided it is better to get checked for any possible future issues before getting too deep.

Remember this. Never apologize or feel bad about putting your health first. There's alot of members here who should be doing that but they'd rather roll the dice. Some will end up learning the hard way. Staying alive and healthy is much, much more important then your bicep size. And being natural doesn't mean you can't look great. Will talk soon.

You should not be using gear...you're an absolute fucking moron. Research more. Listen to what the meso members are telling you. I'm not going to reiterate their advice.

I think this is uncalled for. I suggest you read the thread more thoroughly before pulling the trigger.
