12,000 steps a day trying to bulk

I use a 3 stage system for aggressive bulking.

Solid foods until i cannot anymore. Second stage is mushy foods until i cannot. Third stage is liquids until i fucking burst. Fourth bonus stage is crippling lethargy afterwards.

One of my favorite mushy stage foods is apple sauce plus graham cracker crumbs. You just layer in a glass layers of graham cracker crumbs and apple sauce over and over u til you reach top of the glass. Then use a spoon to eat it, tastes like dessert but is easy to down several hundred calories worth with no chewing. Once i cant even do that i force myself to drink liquids.

Also GOMAD helps, i ran GOMAD for like 9 months and actually lost bodyfat oddly.

Started doing that with yogurt. Thata a great idea.

Never tried with yogurt but sounds yummy. Yogurt, apple sauce, and mashed sweet potatoes (with a little water added) are all mushy-lvl foods. Mashed peas or lentils is another option. Just add water as needed to achieve a mushy enough comsustency that no chewings needed.

What happens to me with solid foids is i rach a point where i chew a piece of meat for 5 minutes straight before i can force myself to swallow it. Thats the point where i switch to mushy foods which require no chewing.

When i cannot even stomach more mushy stuff, i wait 10-20 minutes then start forcing whole milk or fruit juices down until i can feel the food sitting in my esophagus because my stomach has literally no room left. At this point im struggling to breath due to so much volume of shit in my gut impeding my lung expansion and all my blood being used for digestion rather than oxygen uptake. At this point i need to remain sitting up, if i lay down food leaks out into my mouth, no joke.

Interesting approach, looks reasonable. But apparently you need to have a strong stomach.
Thanks for the special recipe.

This really worked well the past couple days. Interesting tactics indeed

Glad to hear its helping you break the plateau bro.

You gotta look at bulking diet like weight lifting. To progress you gotta push beyond your comfort zone just like with lifting.

The 3 stages i described are the dietary equivalent of a drop set in weight lifting. Solid foods are your main weight, but when you reach faiure there you drop set down to mushy food and hammer out a few more reps, when you fail there you drop further to liquid foods until your completely stuffed.

Now it became clear why I could not eat according to the regimen. I was guided by my appetite, and did not live on a diet as the same workout.

Good comparison of hard writing, it's like basic exercises that create the main efficiency, and the rest is already added.

I walk 10-15k regularly and I don't have any problems. I think people are miscalculating their calories. Unless you make your own meals and weigh your food, you will never know how much calories you eat just a rough estimation at best.

What sort of cals are you aiming for that requires doing all that?

When bulking a top end of 6000 cals

I have a small stomach and not a big appetite either, so getting cals in is always a challenge for me, force feeding is a constant necessity. I am also a really active person, sometimes even 6000 cals leaves me in a steep deficit.

Wow, that's activity. If 6000 kcal allows you to be in deficit.

I’ve got a similar issue where I eat 4k or more cals a day but gain very slowly. It doesn’t help that I work a physical job either. I have to slam mk677 and take GHRP6 to stomach eating that much. Most of the calories come from my shakes

For me, liquid write somehow does not affect the growth of muscle mass, but solid food is immediately better.

So doing this thus far gained 4 lbs, yet i look leaner. Just SUCKS so angry i got a hernia 2 days ago.

But still going to go hard and eat a ton.

Get my protein shake finally tomorrow. So will be adding 100 grams of protein shakes a day, even 150.
