Good question. Answer is I wouldn't know since I immediately attacked it with antibiotics to try and prevent it from getting out of control. The antibiotics did not clear the abscess.

Guys, it was the DHB that gave the abscess. I am ultra disciplined with hygiene. Everything is disinfected compulsively. DHB will likely give you an abscess if you use it long enough. I'm not the first and won't be the last who has had this happen and if it happens to you then it is better to be prepared for it than playing ignorant.

Show me the study that says it's "known" to cause infection. Show me your medical paperwork saying the diagnosis was "DHB Induced Abscess".

Are you new to this? It's called personal experience and hearing and reading 20 years worth of other's experience.

No study will show this. No one will ever produce a medical report with a diagnosis of DHB Induced abscess. Stop being a troll. Thank you.

Did they culture your damn incision? Did it come back with a bacteria or did they drain and prescribe random antibiotics?

I treated the abscess myself. I threw many different antibiotics at it but there seemed to be no effect. What eventually worked was many days of hot compresses and painted on topical beta isodona (iodine). I did not have to have an incision but came very close. It was scary.
