it is cause you one side of your body is more dominant than the other, this is common even in eyesight , the worse thing you could do is do more reps on one side this will cause a completely different shape to that muscle group ! the muscle was trained differently in everyday task over years of common movements ( opening doors / picking stuff up / writing / even sometimes how much sports you played and what side controlled the ball) concentrate on even movement workouts and try using opposite sides of body for daily tasks , there is no quick fix to this.
Wrong...i am proof along with many others, now one side being dominant, True...if the right side is bigger, its also stronger, and will take away from your left and what your trying to accomplish..the daily tasks can def work in your favor as well..ive also put weights away with the less dominant side
what part do you disagree with then
everyone has this problem bro, it annoys the hell outta me too.....one side is bigger, one side is stronger blah blah blah.....like great one said, its all about dominance. ex- one side might be bigger or stronger at pushing or pulling than the other....its obvious to me but not other people. Id stay away from trying to work the muscle more independantly than the other because then youll really look off balance
i could see this on a smaller muscle group but not on say legs or backNot independantly, just extra reps...for example if your doing reps of 10 for dumbell curls do a couple extra reps on that side, im saying this from MY experience...MY left arm used to be ridiculously smaller/weaker than my right, i hit it weekly with some extra reps and took turns putting weights away rotating arms and TADAAA both arms symetrical and strength equivalent
