Does anyone use spikes in their test/gear vials?

Does anyone use these spikes you stick into the stoppers on vials so that the rubber doesnt turn to Swiss cheese from repeated needle insertion? Been using one on my trt vial lately and was curious if anyone has anything negative to say about them?

They started gaining traction like last year sometime if I remember right. Then they starting melting after a period of time so it quickly fell out of fashion.

the filter on these melts/dissolves with BA above 1%/BB over ~10%.
Higher solvent% melt them faster, same as harsher solvents obviously.

not really worth it, might cause arthritis and speed up microplastic accumulation in your organs.

Glad made a post about it. Thank you everyone, greatly appreciated. Wasn't even thinking about possible interactions with the ingredients in vial. I didnt mind using the spike and thought I was mitigating risk of peices of rubber getting into my shots but now I have some other things to consider.
