I have a numb spot on my right hip flexor
Didn't loose any strength. Seems like the nerve affected is only tactile, not motor.
Creates a burning sensation when I stretch
Went to my orthopedist and he suggested I over tensioned a nerve while stretching or training
Part of my training is somewhat gymnastics-ish (aerial straps), and for that I go to flexibility and contortion classes.
Because the muscle does not seem be affected I'm not worried about this but I would like to heal it.
Dr. told me nerves are different than tissue and it's hard to estimate heeling.
My physical therapist needled the area and cupped my quad. Said my right quad is tighter.
That did help some, and I could tell a difference in the way my quad felt after needling.
Has anyone had a nerve problem like this before and did you find anything that helped heal it other than time?
