My Reta dose creeping higher

Ok. First real post so be gentle

I’ve been on Reta since May, and recently I’ve felt like the appetite suppression is more or less gone. My hunger is back to where I started it feels like. I started out with 1mg/week a while back, which had great effects. These days I’m running 1mg ED, but I’m quite hungry. I’m recomping, which is OK, but I’m thinking maybe I should add another glp-1, add cagri, do a complete reset or even up the dose to 1.5mg ED (over a couple of weeks).

When I have increased recently, it feels like I’m getting hungrier actually. Weird right?

My goal is to get pretty shredded, as much as possible before vacation in January, and keep muscle. I’m on enough juice to not lose in a deficit and I’m doing a PPL approximately 5-6 times pr week. I’m around 10-12% BF now, the leanest I have ever been.

Open for suggestions.

Macros:

250-300g protein
50-80g fat
Varying carbs from day to day, but 250-450g

Try Tirzepatide - stronger appetite suppressant than Reta if that’s what your after.
I also think tirz will be a good solution, I'm just waiting on my reta to finish up.
But also 7mg a week is nothing, you can easily go upto 12 or even 15mg.

I am also very interested in the effects of the glucagon aspect as theoretically in terms of metabolism/energy expenditure it's perfect on paper

With Reta you burn fat from both eating less + increased fat oxidation (glucagon) and enhances fat mobilization via glucagon which is synergetic with HGH.

But I am very skeptical this actually works as advertised and I don't feel the extra calories u burn from high dose reta is a thing. I am very skeptical unless some serious evidence/anecdotes show otherwise.

Same issue, I'm at 15mg reta.

But also 7mg a week is nothing, you can easily go upto 12 or even 15mg.

Cagri will work btw, I basically get 0 supression from most drugs, I just don't respond as well.

With Cagri I got skeptical, I am rly skeptical and distrusting person when it comes to the effectiveness of drugs. But after titrating doses, it works, Very Well in fact after u reach the perfect dose.

I have never felt this full in my life since I first started blasting reta.

I'll def try to abuse it until it's useless. As I continue to bulk I'll probably be able to not titrate it any further.
If u got a hefty reta supply on hand, titrating it just makes more sense. 7mg a week isn't insane, u can easily go upto 12-15mg.

Anything above that kinda causes a hassle unless u got those R60/R30 vials

idk , with posts like these... there is a lot of body dysmorphia and maybe these drugs arent meant to get to like 6% bodyfat with 0 hunger, at a certain point you just cant expect to not be hungry at a certain body composition and life style

like gear, training etc all increase appetite. as does increasing insulin sensitivity.

Btw the BG alone is why I will always keep it. I also use compounds like tren which also suppress appetite, yet face these issues.

But I assume some people are like me and just never feel full enough no matter the caloric intake, cleanness and volume of food.

I have very good discipline but the pure life changing experience of having to put the fork down cuz I’m actually full and can’t each more, is just so amazing.

365 days a year, everyday I have to plan my dinner and meal meticulously, so that I eat the most volume so I maximize the feeling of fullness. I never opt to go to fine dining and cafes because I could never be remotely full like the rest if the population. So I have to opt for the most volume for the least calories even on a bulk.

The appetite suppression makes life way easier, and simplifies my life choices without hassle and overthinking.

For example these are my lunches.
Each picture is an entire lunch (3 large ass plates/bowls)

All under 1000kcals. Have to opt to these to feel full, fun fact I am currently transitioning into a bulk and volume is still increasing

Thanks for all the advice and the kind words.

My upper body is not quite as lean as my legs unfortunately, but it’s coming down.

I guess the elephant in the room is that I must suffer if I want to get REALLY «dick skin» shredded. And maybe I need to stop being in a hurry. I think I kinda get addicted to visual changes.

Thanks for all the input, I have a lot of things to experiment with from here

Ik “suffering” is a part of it. But if ur using smth like a glp1/cagri which is an all rounder safe compound, I don’t feel it warrants the response of deal with it. As long as ur not abusing the drugs, within the safe limits, ur def within the safe limits. Why not opt for a solution to make easier.

I agree.

Ok, so I'm not alone with high dosages.
I'm taking 9 mg twice a week and started with 5,25mg twice a week.
Before I have been taken Sema for a long time. In the end before I switched to Retra 2mg per week.

Four weeks in on Reta, started at 0.6mg every five days - now up to 1mg every five days - hunger suppression is kept at a functional level.

Over how many weeks are people hitting 5mg+ doses per week?

Typical trials are every 4 weeks they titrate by 1-2mg. However, up to you ultimately.
I just get bored and do it every week. (Not the strongest responder to weight loss drugs as u can clearly see)

It’s going to be all over the board. But Pharma protocols have dose escalation every four weeks, generally, until goal weight or max dose reached,

As weight decreases, counter regulatory mechanisms ramp up to oppose further weight loss, which requires more GLP-1 activation to overcome. IE, Leptin declines, triggering the hypothalamus to increase appetite and psychological preoccupation with food.

It also reduces resting energy expenditure by lowering T3 (slows metabolism), IGF-1 (catabolism, feeding off muscle), and unconscious movement (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) so you maintain weight even with lower calorie intake.
